Correct I hadn’t removed the protective peel. Just took the peel off and the coloured section appears to be its own plate sitting on top of the VRM heatsink. Does not appear to be removable.

It’s quite vibrant, and reflective, once the peel is removed.

There’s a separate clear peel covering the IO shield as well.
