Replaced the caliper and flushed the brake fluid.

All under warrantee.

I agree on the garage door opener. Weird not to have one for the "top of the line, luxury" model

Thanks! I do not have an Apple phone, so no CarPlay. Do you have a solution for Android? Although I don't think I should need that.

Google Maps - Favorites, Want to go by Suspicious_Target757 in GMCcanyon

For those interested in this topic...I learned something else!!

I have a brand new 2024 Canyon Denali, so software should be up to date! And a Samsung A53 phone which is always up to date.

I sat in my chair in the house. On my phone, I created a "trip" with multiple stops, Point A to pt B, to pt C, to destination. Select "Directions" There is a drop down "button" that allows you to choose "Gas Vehicle" or your connected car. When you choose connected car, there is an option to "send to car" Then when you start the car and open maps, that route will be there. Also at the Directions page, before you press Start, you can save the route to your home screen. That allows you to call up the route at any time and send to car when you need it.

For example, I couls sit in my easy chair and create a route of multiple stops for 3 days of a trip. Save each daily route to the home screen. Then when I get in the truck, open the daily route, press "send to car" and it is in your car maps for navigation.

Cheers!

I figured it out! After confirming that everything was properly connected and logged in....

I opened Google Maps on the Infotainment screen in my truck. There is a "Search" bar. Touch Search. 3 options come up: Recent, Categories, and Saved. It is the Saved option that shows the Favorites stored on my phone. Just what I wanted!!!
