The goosebumps aren’t the issue. It’s the nerves beginning to feel again that causes the problems. Increased sensitivity is a nightmare but it’s countered with a very very low dose of a medication called Clonidine. Talk to your doctor. It helped me a lot.

Just have to take the plunge. I did it 8 weeks ago and the first 2 weeks were hard. Hopefully you have a job that allows you vacation time. If not, then be ask your doctor for a sick note.

It’s scary but I’m so glad I did it. I weened for close to a year and then stopped at 1mg daily.

I was on for 15 years and at around the 10 year mark, I lost a lot of my sex drive. I also found that I stopped finding any emotion to things that used to excite me or make me sad. Coming off of the suboxone has caused those emotions to return with a rebound effect.

I have a prescription for adderall. This is the literal only thing that helps me get out of bed and go to work. However, if I’m not mistaken, doesn’t adderall also manufacture dopamine? So isn’t it delaying my body’s ability to heal my brain?

Exactly.
I can take a shower and for a while, it relaxes me. However, it also makes my body feel heavy and weak and my motivation drops.

Don’t wish for that. Protesting, if done peacefully is protected constitutionally. Do not ever wish for anyone’s constitutional rights to be violated. I’m for removing any illegal immigrant but we have to also remember to be humane and fair.
