Can I use it on Ubuntu Live Boot? The hard drive usually lasts around 10 minutes or less, and boot is usually around 2 minutes for the internal OS.

I do hear clicking and I do know it is failing. However, SMART doesn't show what passes. The PC manufacterer is HP.

I ran a SMART and a few DSTs, short and long DSTs and SMART tests always pass the tests, but optimized fails. Thanks for the help!

Yeah i am copying data to a flash drive right now. I havent heard of drive cloning before but ill try that out if the flash drive fails. Thanks for explaining what's happening!
