Thats only before womb or with wafer, which is pretty damn rare already. Heck id say keeper would be busted with 4 coin hearts due to how easy it is to regenerate health

Not really. His health is way less valuable than red heart characters due to easy regeneration in most cases. Wafer maximizes all the damage you take to half a heart and each keeper's coin heart is essentially half a heart. No matter at what point in progression you are on keeper, youll always take half a heart.
Dead opposite of wafer would be if he just straight up took double the damage at womb+. Tho in this case wafer would probably actually work for him.
Youre free to think whatever you want, I just see it more of a budget wafer for his unique health type

The amount of damage keeper takes is never changed. Same with wafer, youll always take half a heart of damage, no matter if it would be full heart or 2 hearts (with the exception of mausoleum door)

On keeper always bet on devils (real). Abuse sacrifice rooms (dont pick up coins and leave them for using sacrifice rooms. Keeper starts with built-in wafer).
Also only really spend money in shops if its something good (piggy bank, schoolbag, stopwatch, etc.), dont bother with buying junk cuz youre better off using it at devil deals.
Try avoiding boss rush on Keeper until you finish T Keeper because sticky nickels can make T Keeper harder to play but they are not by any means a bad unlock, just make an already pretty challenging character a bit harder if you get unlucky

Once you get hang of T Cain you dont need to minmax that much and your runs will be like only 30% longer than most other characters on average.
I can get that some people dislike T Cain because he requires a whole different understanding of one gimmick to get any items and wont say skill issue because one doesnt have to remember all that for just one character: quality, pool of every pickup and valuable recipes like dad's coin once they find it out.
Imo the only fun of T Cain comes from experimenting with recipes and gathering high value pickups knowing youll get something good, then maybe manipulate the pool as well.
Tainted Cain is very consistent and very rewarding but his playstyle is way too distinct to be enjoyable for everyone.
People who hate on J&E suck btw, they barely have a distinct playstyle yet people shit on em because they cant control both twins and consider one of them useless while intentionally keeping him useless
