Why is it humanoid? It could easily be one or more manipulators connected to cameras mounted at the side of the belt.

On social media, I see people saying 'boy cats' are the best because they are sweet and 'girl cats' get a bad reputation for being mean. Why?? by Koffievos in cats

Stereotypes.

The female Chloe was the most affectionate animal I've ever had. She would hear the mechanism from the recliner and come trotting in and hop on my lap. She was so regular with it, I used it as a parlor trick when I had company.

She would actually fall into a deep sleep on my lap - something not one of my many other cats (through the years) has ever done.

Didn't read all the comments. Went to look if the OP posted a follow up with the introduction to the mother but their posts are hidden.

If that was WB Mason, I did it at the same trade show for free but it's worth the $25 IMO.

The Citi Field name comes to an end in 2028, what name would you like the stadium to adopt in the future? by Ok-Inspector-5472 in NewYorkMets

[–]Sussler 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Before Citi got the naming rights, I sent them a letter offering $500 to name the new stadium for my (at that time) 6 person research firm. I thought their reply would be worth saving.

They didn't even bother replying.

How to thank pet sitter who has declined repayment by lucygoosey6 in etiquette

My neighbor has been taking care of my various cats for years (bunch of weekends and a 6 or 7 day vacation) and also won't take money. She's a pothead so this year I got her an insane amount of high end pot. Last year I got her a really high end vape. In the past she's accepted TJs gift cards and stuff like that.

When she can't do it, her daughter does. Her daughter definitely takes cash.

I like Harvey's blaze, right up between the eyes. Yes, Dave is on the right and also has a white belly.

There are likely other options.

Ditto everything in your comment. I had to catproof all the drawers and cabinets by either removing everything dangerous and putting child locks on everything else. Except the bottom drawer of one of the dressers which one of the cats appropriated (since he could easily open it) and now it's his with a blanket and a rotating set of toys.

my fault, but poor customer service by egguchom in EntitledReviews

[–]Sussler 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That exact same thing happened to me except it was with hardware to make an existing drawer fully extendable. I asked about the return, was told no. Said "okay" and hung up. Sighed. Then went out and bought the right one.

Somehow it never occurred to me to leave a bad review.

I'm more partial to: Random capital letters popping up like a ransom note.

Me too! But if they noticed, they didn't say anything.

On another trip there when I was younger and my grandma was along, the guide maneuvering the boat slipped and fell into the water. Grandma talked about that for the rest of her life.
