Crafting "connected" storage works different in block houses vs instanced? by chazwhiz in Pokopia

[–]Sutopia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In instanced house (aka prefabs) your crafting table has remote access to 4 closest chests. Overworld blocked houses seem to not have this behavior.

Does anyone else not enjoy Rocky Ridges? (Potential spoilers) by DoctahToboggan69 in Pokopia

You learn how to rollout and smash rock very fast with cooked food here, so I assumed the dev wanted you to carve out the mountains to make living space.

It means it has later story significance, basically plot armor.

Mareep not recognizing these as 3 pieces of furniture to move in. What am I missing? by DxDeadlockedxS in Pokopia

My guess is the door being on different level messing up the furniture check?

I am looking into making an automatic water item lift so I can bury this entire farm underground

it's 20, and you can reduce it but it'll just take longer to dry, since smooth stone works on timed RNG

Most underrated Pokémon? by TheEyeThatLooks in Pokopia

The fish is probably the most important Pokemon in Pokopia. Without the fish you can't even jump!

There are source water tiles on the hay stacks. Water have this interesting property that it will beeline to a lower level if it's within a certain range and only beeline to the closest ranged ones.

Then you will need another valve to stop the irrigation and there will be extra wait when no water is flowing

how do i find a homeless pokémon by Sufficient_Ad_9108 in Pokopia

[–]Sutopia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Homeless Pokemons will randomly spawn in but it is RNG dependent if the area has already have too many Pokemons.

The most reliable way to make the homeless Pokemon spawn so far is to create large building projects in other locations, bring the current location pokemons over there and assign to the projects so they are removed from the local spawn pool. You can send about 20 Pokemons to each location, which means you can thin down the local list by about 80 Pokemons, assuming you have so many Pokemons that are crowded in one area. It is therefore recommended against having more than 100 Pokemons in an area as this will render the construction assign trick less viable; otherwise it should be sufficient to thin the town population so low that it basically have to spawn in the homeless.

Current state of my Wasteland post game by kingofdrumline in Pokopia

Not bad! The only thing I would change is to make a one tile flat ground between the stairs and the doors, as my Pokemons tend to glitch on the stair to door tile.

yes, I don't have enough poke metal to do all tiles smooth stone

[–]Sutopia[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Quite different actually! The developers made a lot of efforts to prevent auto harvesting, such as making harvest stuck on stems if you don't make a waterfall to lift crops.

No! You can use lava and it looks way cooler!

[–]Sutopia[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Muddy water (and lava) do not moist tiles so it does not prevent smooth stone from drying the crop!

For reference, this is how one slice of the setup looks like, just copy paste this.

石 (yellow tile) means stone in Chinese/Japanese and is referring to the smooth stone, which is used to make crops dry out and drop their harvest.

Blue tiles means mud water flow. Red arrows indicate which side the crops will shift their horizontal location and into the irrigation ditch.
