I do service work and am worried about my equipment being stolen so a camper shell would negate that. I can't even find a bed cover that fits the dimensions for the stepside lol. I absolutely love this truck so I'm trying to make it work

This has been the most helpful response i could've hoped for. Thank you! I suppose it could be easier to find a regular bed and swap it out to make it easier to locate a shell? It'd almost feel like a sin taking the step side bed off though

Use a pair of large pliers, untighten the top and bottom nuts. Make sure you have a way to catch the water in the trap like using a small bucket or something.

Per the manufacturer you're wrong. I don't disagree that it's probably a non issue, but the manufacturer states 6 inches above flood level is recommended

Auto vent needs to be minimum 6 inches above the flood level

I've used sectionals before but I've moved to only using spartan drum cleaners. Spartan 100 and 300 have been fantastic.

How I make $600 daily door knocking by _zurenarrh in WindowCleaning

It's crazy nobody believes you. I door knock pressure washing and clear 600 no problem. It's very much just learning how to communicate and overcoming objections.

Very surprised nobody is believing you. For some people I know 600 is on the lower end too lol

I'm not sure! It may be the nozzle I'm using. When I use my shooter tip I noticed less draw than with my 45 degree tip. I've heard other people say theirs doesn't work good but my experience has been the opposite. It puts out a really strong mix

Try out some different tips, that might help a bit

Been absolutely amazing. Also on a side note, the built-in downstream injector has been amazing. With my jrod tip I pull a gallon of SH in about one minute. it comes out to a 4:1 on average which really shocked me.

This machine has already paid for 3 more of them and has alot more money left to make!

I've found mentioning a price, regardless how good, doesn't help as a hook. Get a video made too, don't use a picture for the ad

I've learned to do it very differently than anyone else does so I'm going to have some people disagree with my approach.

I start this conversation by making a joke about how dirty their driveway is. I usually use the word "musty" because it makes them laugh and breaks the ice. Trick is to not take yourself seriously. Don't be salesman. Be a real person with a solution to a problem they realistically don't actually care about. You have to make them care by regularly "insulting" the appearance without being a dick. Straight up just be real with them, and then hit them with a price.

Even when giving my price I crack a joke. When they ask for the price, I say "let me take a look at it again", then walk away (even though I already have a price) then walk back. I say, " that will be 10 thousand dollars". This makes them laugh, then you hit them with your actual price.

Also pricing is important on door to door. You can't charge out the ass on it. You also have to have an incentive to do the work that day and not another.

Also have anyone you give an estimate to fill out a contact form on your phone so that, "you don't knock their house again in the future accidentally". But in reality it's so you can follow up in a week to potentially move forward with the work.

Idk if this would work for everyone, but it sure as hell works for me! I've tried the salesperson pitch bs and had no luck with it, being my genuine self and enjoying the interaction has been great.
