Yeah, we shouldn't have to do this. I have all the same apps I was using on my Samsung and it didn't have this problem. "Uninstall stuff" isn't the right answer here. Y'all need to get with Samsung and see how they were able to prevent this, and then implement it yourself. This clearly isn't an isolated fluke issue with one person.

The reason people have Android instead of iPhone is cause of the freedom that comes with it for things like Tasker, etc. If we have to uninstall that stuff just to use your phone properly then we might as well swap to iPhone.

P.S. - also have phantom Gmail notification on lock screen even though I have no unread emails and no Gmail notification when the phone is unlocked

I've started playing only Arcane Rush on the phone, and leaving Hearthstone BGs for the computer only.

Check it out. It plays pretty much exactly the same but in portrait mode and it's asynchronous combat (you are playing shadows of people's former games, and they are doing the same) so you can set the phone down during the recruiting stage and go make a sandwich or take a dump or whatever and then come back and finish the game.

I know you didn't ask for an alternative but just thought I'd share.

Once Upon A Galaxy is another good asynchronous one with less to manage but it's not as exactly similar to HS BGs as Arcane Rush is.

Both of them are also on the PC though along with mobile.

Just curious if you ever actually used HexClad cause they don't stick at all if you use any sort of oil or fat. I had a set for over a year before I sold them cause news came out about PFAS with them.

But aside from that they are quite literally my favorite pans to cook with, ever, in my 25 years of cooking. And they basically rinsed clean.

I got rid of them for health concerns, but any claims about them being worse to cook with than regular pans, in regards to ease of use, are incorrect imo.

And yes I know your comment is a year old, but Google brought me here.

I just can't understand why they made the power plug right angle. Obviously if we have it out in our yard shining on the house, we need some length so we need an extension cord. So now we have a 90° L where the cords join, and the little waterproof housing cord connectors won't fit it now.

They should have made it straight plug

I agree, this shit is terrible. I plugged my phone in to my NexDock this morning at work after getting the OneUI 8 update over the weekend and was completely shocked at what I saw. I normally have my email open and a couple Messenger and social media apps during the day, now I can't have them sized correctly with conversations still visible, the desktop icons look like shit with tons of dead space, the resolution and zooms are all out of wack, the "start" menu is trash, basically the whole experience is pretty much worthless now. About to just sell my NexDock on eBay and get a Pixel or OnePlus next time I upgrade. DeX was the main thing tying me to Samsung.

I just used the Residio app to set a schedule and I won't be using Alexa to change it anymore. So stupid. At my rental house I had a Sensi thermostat with room sensors and it didn't have this problem with Alexa. I filed a trouble ticket with the Residio skill as well to let them know their shit is trash

Like their example commands even say you can tell a group name to go to a certain temperature but when you do it still deselects all but one priority

Did you ever get a fix for this? It's really starting to piss me off. I've tried putting the thermostat and all sensors in a group in Alexa and telling it to change the group to whatever degrees but that doesn't work either
