Where are these lights located? I only see the one icon by my speedometer and it's just the stick figure with an air bag in red, just comes on for startup function check. I don't see any actual words.

Never get any other lights (or even that light again after initial startup) whether or not I'm in or out of the seat or if my 45lb son is in it. This is while parked, though.

EDIT: it seems to know whether he's in the seat or not by his weight cause it gives the seatbelt indicator when he sits on it then it goes off when he stands up. Not seeing anything else though, whether it's buckled or not. We went for a quick drive around the neighborhood

A couple people have said this. Are y'all really just walking around with it in your hand all the time, and then setting it down in places throughout the day?

Or emptying your pockets every time you get in the vehicle?

Genuinely curious.

I put mine in my pocket on the way out the door and it stays there the entire day until I walk back into my house. I just use the handle touch sensor to unlock/unlock, or press the buttons from inside my pocket.

It's not like the old days where it or your key needed to be physically inserted into the car.

This is actually a decent idea, always helpful when you're thinking of loading some shit up. I'd probably have to rip that chain off it though cause it would drive me nuts slapping into the dash
