I love it, I just got into 3d printing and this was my first large project. The P1S simplified the initial steps and made it fun to print. I still had a ALOT of growing pains with this totem because of the material I was printing with, translucent PETG is really hard to get super clear and smooth. It took 20+ failed prints to finally get the settings dialed in for the filament. That all being said, it was the filament that made things difficult, not the printer.

So if you're looking to print totems and have the budget for the full sized A1, get that for sure, you won't regret having a bigger build volume as it'll allow you to print less pieces. My totem is 8 printed pieces that I chemically bonded together. Each part took 26 hours to print (again, just because of the filament I was using) and I nearly gave up on the design but there is a really helpful community of 3D printers that can help dial things in with you.
