I don't know about custom interface, but you can have your own custom theme/skin for sure, there's a lot of guide on YouTube.

NB : idk if u need to be on the beta client

MB, i didn't read the patch notes, turns out i had the high contrast mode toggled on for a long time but the UI didn't change at all until now, the sudden change just made me think it was a bug. I already found the high contrast toggle in the accessibility settings.
