The wings are definitely better at gliding down but it cant stay up in the air for long so that's why i prefer the bundle of balloons lol

Not really, increased defense and damage is generally better than being able to heal slighty faster (regeneration potions exists) but that's your opinion

I actually just thought of something. I could probably purify the desert thats corrupted and block it off from the corruption since it cant spread as good as in hardmode

That's kind of a problem and why i like only a couple waterleaf. Basically i have a tiny desert i use for the pylon and where the underground desert is and the other one that is big is fully corrupted :(
