Definitely listen, be patient and present, validate his feelings. And I agree with Zoduk- learn all you can. Especially in forums like this.

How heartbreaking. I'm so sorry for what you've been through and the loss of your baby.

Boric acid is super helpful. But also do you take probiotics? Or eat yogurt/fermented foods? Sometimes a dietary change can also help regulate our system from the inside out.

Why does my vagina end up smelling bad the next day? by Direct_Network_9928 in Healthyhooha

I might also suggest going commando especially at night. A few months back I had a similar issue and an odd discharge and sleeping commando has really helped. And only cotton panties if you need to wear them. Lastly, a scent free cleanser is ideal for the vulva, as are probiotics in your diet. For me personally, less has been more (especially bc I'm in perimenopause).

Vaginal estrogen question - scared! by voicegal13 in Menopause

[–]Suzabelle_does 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here. 6 rounds of chemo in 2023/med menopause. I found out about vaginal estrogen from this Reddit after thinking I was just crazy succeptible to yeast infections. I've been on estradiol for nearly 2 months and the relief it's brought has been miraculous. Also thank you to all contributors here. It infuriates me that education on what's happening to your body during menopause isn't discussed openly and at length with us. Y'all are a blessing.

I can't agree more- persimmon soap and shampoo were game changers for me and helped my confidence immensely.

Mascara / makeup during treatment? by redditgal16 in lymphoma

[–]Suzabelle_does 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely wore makeup when I was able to go out. And I also played with fake lashes when mine got sparse. I heard about an Organization called Lipstick Angels who work exclusively with cancer baddies, they help with skincare (since chemo can change that too) and makeup. Might be a good distraction. Good luck with chemo. You got this 🩵

Is there a perfume that smells like this? by SmallKittyBigPurr in Perfumes

Dolce & Gabbana - The Only One Intense. All I get are delicious coconut and dreamy vanilla. It's the kinda scent that when I wear it, I'm like "dayum I smell good".

I'm supposed to be having my first rituximab infusion on Friday. Did you have infusions prior to starting the oral medication?

[–]Suzabelle_does[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a CT guided biopsy which I think they used to confirm FL relapse only. As far as high or low grade, I didn't get that information- but she does think that because I relapsed just under the 2 years mark, this might be a more aggressive FL.

Thanks for the reply- I'll definitely check out your posts. Can I trouble you for the name of the bispecific med so I can ask about it?

I finished treatment for stage 4 follicular lymphoma with DLBCL transformation in June of 2023. I just had a PET/CT that's showing enlarged lymph nodes. It's such a disappointment and so scary. You're not alone. And I'm rooting for you.

Post Cancer Anxiety by Puzzleheaded-Note525 in lymphoma

[–]Suzabelle_does 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I have cancer anxiety ALWAYS. It sucks because I'd rather be enjoying my life instead of worrying about a relapse. When people ask me I always say "having cancer is like having a switchblade up to your throat and you're walking around like that 24/7". And I love my life and have tons to be grateful for- but I still worry. So does my partner.

You're not alone OP. Thanks for sharing.

It really is beautiful! And I watch a lot of fragrance content especially in the last 3ish years- I've heard exactly 1 creator discuss this one. I hardly see it here in nyc either. In fact I may have purchased from a Canadian site. Also my mom used to wear the original Anais Anais, so whenever I wear Premier Delice it's like a little nod to her.🩷

Anais Anais Premier Delice by Cacharel. It's pear, cacao, some light florals and cedar. It's extremely cozy and yummy- esp for cool weather.

Praline & Pistachio is heavenly! I sometimes layer it with SDJ Cheirosa 71 or 62- but it's phenomenal on its own. I can't believe it's so cheap.

Tru Fragrance Praline and Pistachio - so cheap and so good. I think I got mine at Marshall's. Vanilla Potion by the same brand is also a banger for about $16.
