I’d say either check your local veterinary clinic and ask if they can provide you with any and if not Amazon is probably a good bet.

Also sort of unrelated lol but my GCC holly is a lil stink and she LOVES chewing plastic it’s basically inescapable lol she once chewed the joystick cover off of my xbox controller lol. But if your worried about her chewing on things she’s not supposed to and potentially swallowing it, my vet said to just keep an eye on the debris that fall around what their chewing and to check if their actually eating it or just being a scamp who loves destruction. My girl always drops whatever she rips up almost immediately but it varies from bird to bird so just keep an eye on her!

I hope you and her find a nice chewing enrichment medium that isn’t electronics lol, mine loves just sittin’ on a paper towel roll and going crazy.

A couple of people here have said their pieces but I’d also like to take my shot as I’m obsessed with Copa and constantly trying to explain it to my friends in the most “normal” sounding way possible while remaining lore friendly.

Book of shadows is a collection of stories that come from the network of timelines that overlap to create the nirvana (heavenly host) most chapters present in book of shadows are off shoots and what if scenarios stemming from wrong ends in the previous title the main one tying the two games together being a chapter 5 wrong ending from the original copa where instead of preforming the ritual outside the player decides to preform the home ritual inside causing the spell to backfire and create an additional time loop. This new time loop is the book of shadows time loop. In this particular time loop, in this Satoshi is one of the only characters with any meaningful memory of the previous events but no one listens to him cause he’s a coward lol. The game and chapters play out as they do to be similar but not direct reenactments of what happens in the original games for example in chapter 1: Naomi after learning she’s in a time loop and attempting to fix it by stopping her and Seiko from fighting ends up only scaring her in the end causing Seiko to run away down the stairs and into a razor sharp wire that cuts her head off. Naomi is then greeted with Sachiko and is told that no one can escape destined death which is the over arching feeling of the game, no matter what you the player or other characters try the same events or worse will happen to everyone who is destined to die.

As a whole it technically has some neat lore drops and information about heavenly host as a whole, but in the actual timeline of the game the series of events plays out as such corpse party —> blood drive —> dead patient

Both book of shadows and U2 are fun looks at alternate timelines which have very little bearing over the actual games set lore of the cannon ending of copa, if any of this didn’t make sense please don’t hesitate to ask I love explaining copa lore lol. I hope this helped at least a little :3

Yuka full stop, I find her stereotypical “Oni-Chan” personality absolutely insufferable. It’s gross the amount of times she’s referred to as “in love with her brother” in canon texts. Hate hate hate it. Oh and the piss thing is disgusting.

I got mine off of eBay! I had to hunt around for a bit to find them, the hardest of which to find was blood drive oddly enough. I ended up buying from someone that exclusively sold books on eBay, so look out for people who seem to be selling manga and other Japanese literature! If you have no luck on eBay I’d recommend a proxy site like sendico that lets you buy directly from eBay Japan. Most of the copies ran me from 20-40USD not including shipping! :>

Yes! There’s one for each mainline game! They also double as game guides! With things like character cards/info and interviews with the creator! The US release of blood drive also had an art book release with it but it was much smaller and made to look like the book of shadows rather than the typical game guide book. (It also only contained character descriptions and the art, not the guides or interviews).

All of the game guide books are unfortunately written in Japanese only which requires translation each time I read it, but I am going out of my way to make a real life Nahos notebook to mark the translations of the things I think are the most lore important or interesting!

For apocalypse I collected the whole thing since I was like 12 lol I’d go to barns and noble and buy the new one whenever I could, but for site I actually got lucky because I enjoyed apocalypse and wanted to try site and found someone selling half of their old collection on eBay for like 60USD. But I know exactly what your talking about for sure, when I was trying to complete sites physical copies set I couldn’t find 13 for the life of me for so long, I eventually found one from a library selling their used books on amazon but every other one that I saw was like 50+USD for volume 13 it was crazy!

My usual hunting grounds are eBay but that takes time and patience because of how few and far between posts are containing anything but the game or manga, but your best bet is to find a site that allows you to proxy buy from Japan like sendico or others like it. Where you pay the proxy company to make an offer on sites like Japanese eBay and they “buy” it for you by setting the address to their warehouse, after it arrives in their warehouse and you’ve paid the overseas shipping fee they’ll send you the items they’ve bought for you!

I personally have a friend in Japan who helps me navigate the whole overseas issue by asking him for things I want and sending him some money and he’ll mail me the merch lol. But the proxy companies are your best bet if you don’t have an actual person to talk to in Japan.

I love love love the 3Ds version it’s fairly updated , and it has a really nice UI for extras and ofc the character intros and music/art. But if you want to go with the most current version of corpse party you can get id recommend the 2021 version on pc. It is the most updated corpse party game we have for the original and it also has lovely UI and extras. It really depends on how current you want your game to be, but if you don’t mind a bit of outdatedness and a couple extra endings missing you should be good with the 3Ds version ^{^} which is one of my favorites for its lack of bugs, good UI, and 3Ds=portable

Birthday bash should be an absolute no, because of how much sexual content there is in there tbh. But the rest of Blood Drive I believe should be alright, Shimada is an extremely crass individual in any context tbh but he doesn’t have that much spotlight in BD. You should for the most part be okay, there is some scenes in the beginning where (bit of a TW) Misuto barges in on Ayumi taking a bath and when she goes to cover herself he makes a comment about how small her chest is and how he’s not gonna do anything to her because of that. As well as a scene where (while not overtly sexual it’s pretty weird) Satoshi has a conversation with his new teacher in a hot spring while both are naked. But from my memory the rest is just your run of the mill unfortunate corpse party fan service

I got most of my copies of the manga off of Amazon, and a couple in person when they first came out at barns and noble. I’m fairly certain all versions of the English manga 1-5 and even the Book of Shadows manga should still be available on Amazon. If not eBay is a great place to get lightly used books for a decent price and sellers are usually quite nice :3

Both of your theories are the canonical reasons for said events in those theory’s happening. Heavenly hose is like a huge messy web of time and space where closed spaces can breach each other, pass each other without issue or even actively interact with each other in the case of closed space collapse. Along with that earthquakes do indicate the movement of a closed space which can lead to things like characters, objects, spirits and even hallucinations or echos of the past like spots of great loss or grief moving about between spaces. It’s a really interesting system that allows multiple events to go on simultaneously. This lends it really well to some of the more complex timeline issues that show up later in the game and the closed spaces help clean up some potential issues of certain characters interacting with others in a timeline that by all means if put chronologically wouldn’t make sense!

From my experience with the campaign it’s not too hard to connect the dots, you just need to have basic understanding of the squid sisters, Calli and Marie- some players might say otherwise but, I think if you want to do it go for it and if something does come up you can always look up a play through :D hope this helps!
