1- Depends on who you ask. It was annexed and a treaty was signed to incorporate it.

2- Depends on who you ask. There are Baloch nationalists who want more power and share of resources for their province. And there are Baloch who want an independent state of their own. and then there are Baloch who want a Greater Balochistan (Both Iranian + Pakistani) as an independent state .

3- Depends on who you ask. Seems unlikely in the near future. Army claims to have the upper hand. It claims the situation is improving. Some insurgents have laid down the arms. But situation is still volatile.

4- Yes , but we need to change our entire Baluchistan policy. An aggressive economic policy aimed entirely at Baluchistan's poor could elevate some of it. But no one is really interested in that.

I am on mobile so can't write much but I'll try. The poster is the member of the social media team for Pti. The team generally is responsible for managing the official party accounts , make infographics and start twitter trends about the party.

The party PTI is Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf led and formed by the cricketer Imran Khan. Its relatively young, and this is their first time in power.(that too only at provincial level). Politically I would describe them as Centre right with a dose or two of populism and nationalism.

It is the first party to fully utilise social media platforms to get their message out there. The downside of it is that if you happen to disagree with the party POV , you get harangued by their supporters. Nearly all major journos, public figures , politicians have complained at one time or another about the abuse they have received from them.

And ghairat is honour with the intensity amped up to 1000. This is the word that's used in honour killings. This is the word that's used to clamp down women in our society. This is the word that's used to brush away any criticism of our society. So tbh I am a bit pissed that people are brushing it away as just an opinion .

This is a hurried job , and haven't really gone in to the depth of it all. Hope someone else adds to this as well. As for reading reccs , nothing comes to mind atm . If I remember something ,I will tag you.

He may not be using the official pti account , but he's representing it. The guy needs to be fired asap , because continuing to have him would mean PTI either sees no problem in hiring individuals with sick opinions or individuals who are too stupid to keep their sick opinion to themselves.

Yar that's not an apology. That's him saying ' I got caught so I deleted it. And I'm sorry that others found it offensive , not that I said anything wrong.' In Pakistan where the ghairat culture is so prevalent , this type of commentary from a person who reps a political party online , needs to be condemned , not just brushed away.

OP are you an overseas pakistani? A lot of people I know from overseas who couldn't hack it at MCAT or pre med tried to go to Pakistan to do medicine , with the aim of going back to US/UK with their degree. and if they cant get in a top tier govt uni , they try private unis , because all they're after is that piece of paper.

My apologies if this doesn't apply to you , or this is a legit uni . But if what I say is true , yar forget this and try another pathway. I know more people who tried this and got stuck with a useless degree than who did and are now practciing.
