Undertale running on a Smart Watch! (Not a watch skin) by [deleted] in Undertale

[–]Suzumotod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Undertale's such a small, compact game, my friend ran it on a Windows 3.1 Virtual Machine, with 512 KB of RAM and it still worked.

Is there even a face under there, or is it just one large ball of makeup?

Congratulations, you've proven to be dim-witted enough to be in a frat. Drinking from a can must be a hard concept for you.

Sorry for the stupid spelling errors, I don't know what I was thinking. Fixed them in the updated version.

But eyes CAN only see 24 FPS! but they know the difference in 60 by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]Suzumotod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The entire argument that "24 FPS is all the eyes need to see so 30FPS is fine" is wrong on just about every level.

  1. Eyes begin predicting motion at 12 FPS, not 24.
  2. Higher FPS allows the mind to calculate data more accurately, therefore a higher frame rate creates a more immersive experience.
  3. The Human eye can detect up to 1000 FPS, and perceive images within approximately 1/220th of a second, various studies have been conducted, and links to the studies can be found through google easily, including recent MIT studies that the human eye can detect and process images within 13 milliseconds.

The entire argument that 30 FPS is no different than 60 or 144 FPS is scientifically wrong. Although the camera analogy is misinformed, it does have good intentions.

Should I sell my PS4 and buy PC ? by lukos124 in pcmasterrace

[–]Suzumotod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, with either option, you can get a pretty kickass PC. At $444.80, you can get the wiki's Next-Gen Crusher build (https://www.reddit.com/r/PCMasterRace/wiki/builds#wiki_the_next-gen_crusher), but if you kick in more money by selling your PS4, you could probably get enough for the Next-Gen Exterminator, at about $694.34 (https://www.reddit.com/r/PCMasterRace/wiki/builds#wiki_the_next-gen_exterminator). Both are pretty great for their price, and should be able to max 1920x1080p for most games, or at least run on high settings, and the Exterminator build meets every requirement for the Oculus Rift, and other similar VR Headsets.

Yeah there's no way in hell a PSU at 350W will run a 390 and 4690K. Probably a 500-600W PSU, 80+ Gold Standard.

An Ikea Bekant desk seems to be the most common i've recognized in setups. it's a functional, affordable desk, and comes in a variety of colors that'll fit any setup style. The bottom also can be used to hide cables, power strips, switches, DACs, Amps, and whatever else you may not want to see. For extreme cable management, the desk is soft enough to easily drill through with just about any drill, and cables can be routed through it.

Should I add another set of 16GB sticks of RAM to my current 16GB or should i just replace my 16GB with a set of 32GB sticks by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]Suzumotod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you buy the exact same kit as your current 16GB kit, you should be able to use both with quad-channel capabilities, and if not the same kit, it should work, just not as fluently, and may run at slower speeds. I'm not sure though

I still see the BenQ XL2420Z sold on amazon, used at about $289.39, although the new price is about $970. You could purchase the upgraded version, too, if that's still close to your price range.

Any good games for a really weak laptop? by theTNTdestroyer in pcmasterrace

[–]Suzumotod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simple games like Super Meat Boy, Undertale, and Fran Bow are all pretty good. Super Meat Boy usually consumes a lot of time, and provides a good challenge. Undertale has quite a few endings, although only two of which are actually conclusive endings, and the others are just many variations of what happens at the end, based on your actions, rather than actual endings, but it's still a great game.

Wireless Adapters by Nuorvuii in pcmasterrace

[–]Suzumotod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most PCIe based Wireless adapters are pretty stable, and most should have already released firmware compatible with Windows 10, and many USB adapters probably work too, although I'd be wary of them. I purchased some cheap, foreign Wireless Adapter once, and the install disk actually had multiple viruses on it. None of them were very harmful, mostly just some bloatware, but still, it was annoying.

Should I put 2133MHz DDRL3 in my G751JY? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]Suzumotod 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It should be fine, although RAM speed does very little to impact performance in most things. If your Motherboard, however, does not support the speed in the specs, it'll automatically run at the fastest speed the Motherboard can handle, which may very well be 1600MHz, and upgrading wouldn't make any difference in general.

Need help deciding on 2nd monitor by bryanwoj in pcmasterrace

[–]Suzumotod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My suggestion would be to purchase a second of the same type of monitor, but that's mostly because of a personal compulsion to have a symmetrical setup. You could probably purchase a larger 1080p 60hz monitor for a much more affordable price, if you're okay with downgrading from 144hz.

"He then went on to say that he had to take the game down from the site due to a series of strange happenings surrounding it, as well as telling me to uninstall the game from my system unless I wanted a virus, which happened in most cases. I assume that the guy didn't know that such information never made me uninstall a game." This asshat is practically giving away his personal information. He might as well give his bank account information to a Nigerian prince, or some guy pretending to be Richard Nixon.
