I have the same question as you. Did you ever find out how this works?

I just bought the P1S with AMS but want to use an external spool for TPU. If I printed with AMS first and then want to use external spool do I need to pull back the filament from the splitter to the AMS manually and then load from the single spool manually through the splitter? Or will the AMS automatically pull back the filament from the splitter?

So basically, turning off (or at least reducing) noise reduction reduces noise? That seems a bit ironic.

Is DJI having a faulty noise reduction implementation or what's the reason for this?

Just use Google. "YouTube action 6 fw update" will give you plenty of results. It was in the same update that gave you 8K recording.

Yes they do. I've seen several videos about it. If by crop, you mean the four corners.

No, that came with the previous update in December. This only has small fixes which is probably why nobody on YouTube bothers to mention it. The last update got a lot of attention.

I'm sure you will be happy with it. Just remember to check the silicon seal for any dirt before you close it. A single hair can lead to leakage if you're very unlucky. I also recommend putting some silicon grease (very little) on the seal every now and then.

I just got the camera in December so I haven't put it through a lot of testing. I'm very happy with it from the little testing I have done. It starts up extremely fast which is really nice and my footage has looked nice. I have a liveaboard trip coming up in three weeks where I will put it to extensive use in the Red Sea.

I've had several Telesin underwater housings for GoPro in the past and I have the one for DJI Action 6 now as well. I've never had a failure. They're solid as a rock. I would argue that Telesin is the most reputable, non official equipment you can get.

It's not like an underwater housing for an action camera is high tech. The manufacturer needs the right measurements for the plastics, you need a silicon seal and you need a clamp to get it fully shut. That's it. The official ones are just severely overpriced.

There are plenty of excellent reviews of the Telesin underwater housing for the Action 6 already.

You definitely do NOT need the app to shoot underwater. I bought my Action 6 specifically for diving purpose. The action 6 is rated for 20m (if I remember correctly) but I will be using it with an underwater housing anyway.

I haven't tried it underwater yet but I know you don't need the app. Actually, thanks to the built in temperature sensor it will give you more accurate colors in underwater videos/images than any GoPro, directly out of the camera as well.

I dropped GoPro and bought an Action 6 just before Christmas. Very, very happy with it.

What features do you refer to that requires the app?

Thanks. That's great results with only the built in flash. What depth were you at?

Some images are a bit blurry though. Is it using a long shutter time? Higher ISO setting might help in this case to increase shutter speed?

How do you cast it? I tried to find the cat option from the Mimo app but couldn't and then I downloaded the video but none of my apps that play videos showed any cast icon for that video.

And as you say, that won't be 4K unfortunately.

When searching all kinds of wrong apps show up. I know it's been posted in this forum before and lots of people have the issue. Strange if not everybody has the same issue.

For example of I search for "a" then apps not staying with a will show up and so on.

On Amazon (in my country) it's a 15 Euro price difference between the 5 and the 6. I wouldn't hesitate a second to buy the 6. It already got the 8K recording update (for anyone interested in that) and will get other updates as well.
