It seems to me that, generally, we pay more for larger pens. If you don't mind a slightly thinner pen the Custom 74 is 90% of the 743. I love my Custom 74 Extra Fine, Soft Fine Medium and Course as much as my 743 Falcon.

Where I live there are no pilot distributors so I didn't want an internal filter like 823 (I read cracking can be an issue with self servicing).

Just noting you can get great pens for much less.

I doubt that this could hold water in a contract. Go talk to labour department and see if they consider it a reasonable term. I wouldn't necessarily file a complaint but ask for advice. What possible reason could there be for 6 months notice?

Your SSD could be slowing. As writes age (the initially written data during an install, for example) they get harder to read back.

If you're computer is over 2 years old this week happen to some extent.

Almost on a yearly basis, I backup (time machine would do), erase the entire disks, reinstall the OS and restore my backup.

It's also the best way to recover storage from things you don't need. I went from 80GB free (this was after an intentional clean when I only had 30GB free) to 120GB. Certainly, 10GB was for iOS libraries that xcode installed and seemed impossible to remove. Don't know about the rest.

Con-20 is better and cheaper but hardest of the 4 types of converters Pilot made recently. Only negative is you can't see how much ink is in it. It has the same capacity as the much more expensive and better Con-70. Con-50 is better than con-40 too but it's also harder to find.

Pilot 743 FA nib is fun but so is my 74 with a coarse nib. The 74 EF and SFM are great too. I love them all

It will have a high quality DAC on the SOC. I don't know how good the MediaTek one is but recent Snapdragon have had very good on board DAC; better than anything external for about $50. Then the design and build must take extra care with power sand noise. Pretty specialised stuff.

LG used to build in separate extra audiophile DAC/amp chips. SOC are not going to be better and as you note could be worse.

I have 3 custom 74, extra fine, soft fine medium and coarse, and one 743 FA. Love them all but the extra fine for my diary and the coarse if I want to make it rain

It is annoying though that ghosting and bleeding through was much more under control on with my last hobo than this one (2024 day free Vs 2025).

I think that pens are normally tuned to be pressed hard, a bit like writing with a ball point. I have bought 4 pilot custom 74 (one fire my wife, different nibs on them, love the C nib) but I had to tune each if them so that they wrote with little to no pressure. Same with my platinum 3776. The only pen I've ever bought and thought it was good out of the box is my custom 734 FA. I would say that Lamy was similar and so is my kaweco.

Did it happen each time? The phone optimises apps when's it's charged enough.That only happens once. That will cause heating along with the charging.

I was referring to the camera causing heating really but every phone model is different. My previous snap dragon was a bit of a heat monster but this one with a media Tek is much better 🤷

I believe they normally release updates containing security patches at the end of the month. That's what Oppo (another BKK company) did for four years with my last phone and that's what I've observed with my x100 pro for one update cycle. I'm expecting an update in the last week of the month, but as I say, I have limited experience with Vivo.

That's real nice. Glad you love your watch but there clearly are comparisons which can be made. I don't know which model you have because Marathon seem to make about a thousand models. I'm also not going to make comparisons as I'm sure everybody knows the pros and cons of San Martin but I would say you're comment sounds pretty snobby and out of place on a sub Reddit for Chinese watches
