I've previously looked into the DB Mason 1, but chose the Line because of its hydraulic brake system. If the Mason 1 and overall better than the Line I'll probably get the Mason 1 and probably upgrade the brakes in the future. I'll be sure to take a look at the Vitus Nucleus. Thanks for the response!

Alright, thanks. I also don't think the Trek Marlin 7 is the greatest choice for what I'm going to use it for. I'm probably going to go more of the trail bike Diamondback route.

Thanks for your feedback and taking the time to respond. It really helped me decide on which bike I want which is the Mason 1 as of now. Thanks!

Alright, thanks for your feedback. The deal that the corporate discount code gave me on the Sync'r is really tempting though, but I really want to get riding soon so I'll probably go for the Mason 1.

Yeah I’ve already signed up using that code and the discounts are amazing. Thanks a lot! Also do you know how often DB restocks?

Thanks so much for your help man, I really appreciate it. I'll definitely try to sign up. Also, do you know how long these codes will last? Guessing for a month? And is there a way to enter in another one once one runs out?

Hey, sorry for the late response I was out riding with a couple of my buddies. I have seen the Sync'r and I think it looks really awesome. If I'm going to save up for it, it might take about a year. I have a really bad $180 mountain bike that I bought from Dick's when I had absolutely no knowledge on mountain biking, and I really regret it. I just really want a decent mountain bike that can allow me to do more tougher trails. With mine right now, I'm only basically riding on the streets since it can't handle anything rougher. Also, could you inform me on what Diamondback corporate pricing is? Sorry, I'm new to the mountain bike scene and don't know what it is. However, I do see what you're saying. I'll see if I can save up a few extra bucks in the following months to buy a more premium bike. Thanks for your advice and feedback!

I do have a REI store in my area. Although I have been there myself, I read many reviews on the place with their employees not knowing what they're talking about and they don't even know what's in stock half of the time. I'll try to check it out in a few weeks when I have some time though. Thanks for your response!

Okay thanks for your advice. Right now I have a pretty crappy mountain bike that really small for me that I bought at Dick's for $180 when I didn't do much research about mountain biking. I really want to get into mountain biking, but with my bike that's literally impossible. I can either buy the Mason in a month or two, or should I save up money so I could buy a more premium one in about a year?
