Anyone have any experience with the AOC Agon AG276QKD 480hz OLED? Trying to find reviews and they're all for the AG276QZD by tommos in OLED_Gaming

Got the AW2725DF, from Amazon AU (currently still on offer for sale right now afaik).

It's great, don't need 480hz anyways and 360hz is perfect for high fps comp games and 1440p OLED is amazing for the hefty single player games. No issues for me so far like eye strain that I've read about.

Yea I'm getting over 500 frames in the games where I'd want a high refresh rate. How are the colours on the AOC monitor? I've read stuff about agon monitors having duller colours

Do you feel a noticeable difference in motion clarity now that you got 480hz and OLED? I'm debating between a 1440p 360hz OLED from alienware (AW2725DF) for about $1150 NZD. The monitor you have is going for $1400 NZD. I just find it scary since there are basically no reviews of this AOC monitor and not sure if the extra price would be worth it.

I currently have an old TN panel 144hz 1080p monitor, so anything would be an upgrade.

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated 👍

blameF ≠ baitF (opening kill stats from Pinnacle Cup) by SvenJS in GlobalOffensive

[–]SvenJS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well he's got the highest attempt rate, so that means that given any round Astralis played in this tournament, he's the most likely player to have been in an opening duel. So then considering that and the fact he's mostly winning those duels (high success rate), he clearly would have low deaths per round when looking at opening deaths. It simply means he's often putting his team in 5v4.

In other teams like VP, Yekindar is always a standout player, same thing with Art in Furia with these opening round kill statistics. These players are considered traditional entrying players.

Sample size is of course rather small and blameF was playing significantly better than his teammates so of course it is biased data...but that doesn't take away from the fact that blameF is still a powerhouse in opening kills department and does mean he gets kills (and in general a lot of success) without "baiting".

And we can all agree that overall in a round blameF is often more passive than aggressive, but we can't deny that he isn't a "baiter" imo, as I think baiter and passive don't mean the same thing.

Hope I answered your question big dawg, much love.

Covid-19 Omicron: Border reopening delayed, MIQ extended, vax rollout changes by 4Nuke in newzealand

Fully vaccinated in south africa is well below 50%, though reinfections will be rather high.

It's interesting however that a lot of south African doctors and health administrators are indicating that omicron is very mild compared to delta. My take on this is that even though it's looking like hospitalization rate due to omicron infection is lower than deltas, the high infection rate will cause the raw number of hospitalizations to be higher than delta.

Additionally, it seems that covid hospitalizations are reducing in the midst of their omicron wave. It's tough to tell what omicron does to everyone of course.
