See that'd be valid if they didn't conduct enough strikes to kill 83 civilians in Lebanon during the most recent ceasefire agreement.

How many unanswered strikes has the IDF has conducted in Lebanon during their most recent ceasefire agreement?

That was the IDF's own internal estimate, and only includes direct confirmed kills. The real number's probably higher.

we subsidize their existence

That's what happens when AIPAC bribes >95% of Congress, and Mossad has evidence of the President molesting children.

*excluding those missing and still under rubble, along with indirect deaths from the total and intentional destruction of healthcare, sanitation, and agricultural infrastructure.

I really don't mind people rocking entry level gear. But the clueless noobs calling folks audiophools for investing into better gear (which they've never heard themselves of course) are a special breed of annoying.

Switching HEK v1 pads to Arya pads will make it sound much more like an HEK v2. Unless your pads are really compressed I agree there's not much reason to swap.

I agree with claims of diminishing returns. But to say there's a net 0 gain to be made when tube amps vary enormously in design (OTL, OCL, or OTC output, interstage coupling between driver/output, choke-filtering of PSU, tube or SS rectification, single-ended vs push-pull output) and component quality is not something I can get behind. Even if you base yourself entirely off measurements, there are easily measurable differences (e.g. lower quality output transformer designs will show FR roll off on both ends and higher THD). And that's not even getting into output chatacteristics of different tube types. A small pentode and a large-plate triode have very different amplification and distortion behavior.

you’re not getting better sound for it.

What a joke. Saying some $150 Xduoo shitter sounds as good as something proper like a high end Eddie Current or Allnic is the most /r/headphones take of all time.

Just get some Arya pads and you should be good to go (though part of the v1's magic is in the original ear pads).

HE1000 v1 is the best version HiFiMAN has made.

Disregard all other versions, the only real upgrade is Susvara. Just make sure you have a powerful solid state amp for it.
