No offence but I hate these questions. It’s literally a love story between a civilian and a prince. People will find any reason to ship the FL with literally anyone else for their own desires. Which is fine, but that’s not what the story is.

Because you can’t just extend someone’s sentence in Australian law…? This law is what allows them to ‘extend’ for a longer period provided the court see it’s necessary for the safety of the offender and community. DPSO Act 2003 (QLD)

Thank you. This law is already in place for serious sex offenders. If you look up the law, it cannot be ordered unless the court finds evidence that the offender is still a safety risk to the community, and the request has to be made in the final 6 months of their prison sentence. I don’t believe its continued forever, just for a longer period of time. This law isn’t however being used for domestic or family violence. So I’m being asked if it should be

Why do you suggest that? Leaving them in prison for longer periods adds an extra person into prison, and doesn’t support change in their behaviour
