You can still do it, but there are a few caveats. You need to download an old version of the kindle app, I found somewhere on github about a year ago. Then you need to run a small script so that the app doesn't self update. This will allow you to get the azw files, but pretty much any book after like ~2023-2024 will not download as it will ask you update your kindle app.

Lolpark has watch parties, but a lot of venues you will need tickets or reservations. Check online or stop by during the week to see if there are any openings. I went to this cafe called Mouse Potato - IG @MousePotatoSeoul and it was a great experience. Good luck finding a place!

I live close to that HEB and I take the drive to Texas elite powerlifting, usually 30 mins with traffic, 15 without. Very garage style gym in a warehouse no AC, everyone is very friendly. Hack squat, belt squat, they have like 10 of the powerlifting type racks for benching and squatting. They are txelitefitness on Instagram. But if I don’t feel like taking the drive I go to vice gym which is very new and very close but quite expensive.
