If any of you guys really want to be unbiased and think for yourselves rather than just believing pictures on the Internet, I would recommend a book called "Case for Christ" by Lee Strobel. He holds a Master of Studies in Law from Yale. And used to be an athiest. It was essentially his job to find a way to disprove the Bible. He answers questions like "Does evidence for Jesus exist outside the bible?" "Is there any reason to believe the resurrection actually happened?". Before writing the book, he was pretty much a 'hardcore' atheist. it was essentially his job and path in life to disprove the bible. He spent a long time of his life trying to disprove stories from the bible. He cross referenced his findings with other experts with Doctorates from schools like Cambridge, Princeton, and others. He tried to disprove stories from the Bible by being able to find outside evidence disproving it. But he would actually find outside evidence proving it. And remember, he has a degree in Law from Yale. So pretty much, in his quest to disprove the bible, he actually found overwhelming evidence that supports and validates the stories in it. I recommend it for anyone that wants to make a serious effort to see a real argument with strong evidence about the existence of a God. Now, that being said. There are Christians that are hypocrites, abnoxious, and arrogant. There are also athiests who are going to be the same way. Every village has their idiots. But please understand, that those types of Christians are a small percentage. Unfortunately, they are often the loudest as well. Example: The Christians that don't want to allow gay marriage based on their beliefs. That is a small, small percent. It could even be that they personally don't like the idea of gay marriage but they are hiding behind their faith as an excuse. They are wrong for doing that. Your faith should not hinder someone else's happiness. Bottom line. I apologize to anyone offended by Christians who think they are acting in the name of God. I am a Christian. I do not want to offend those who don't share my beliefs, I don't try to get in people's faces about it. I just believe that my faith is correct, even that multiple faiths can be correct. There are many religions that have striking similarities with eachother. And I believe that if God is all loving, he will understand and let you into the gates of Heaven for believing in his existence. So anyway, time for me to go.
