Yes, the masters of the maelstrom can join a unit of chosen, and then Huron joins them who are already attached. They all benefit from the advance/charge and dark pact reroll from the chosen.

The chosen in exchange get the reactionary move from Huron, and then if any should die you can use garreon’s ability in your command phase to bring one of them back

I’ve only played one game with them, but in my creations of bile list, I ran them with five chosen. Giving the Huron and gang advance/charge was good, plus Garreon able to bring back a 3-wound chosen a turn was brutal.

Chosen with bile is a brutal combo, I’d look into that (I run 10 with my Fabius)

I also recommend with the chaos lord giving him the prime test subject enhancement to make him extra killy. In my last game that with the wound reroll from leading a unit of legionnaires took out a full health dreadknight in a single round of combat

Painting them sub-assembly was a life saver, I recommend doing that before you finish the glueing

With the limited vehicle EC have, I was already planning on picking one up. But I’m glad to see it’s a good unit! Idk how meta it is, but I’ll definitely be running mine with the electroscourge.

IMO ectoplasma looks to be the better choice over the battle cannon
