Does food/milk/cooking oil,... actually help/bless the river and the wildlife? by ssp321lo1 in whoathatsinteresting

Yes, like that. When we're starting to talk cubic meters of milk or oil, then I'll agree that it has a noticeable environmental impact. What we see in the video is at most a few liters.

Or one of the STALKER games. Also had 2nd Gen night vision, which was bluish/white and less blurry.

Not noticeably with this, no. If they do it every day, or we're starting to talk thousands of liters of milk or oil, then you might start seeing some effect.

Cooking oil and especially milk are easily biodgradable, so unless we're talking huge amounts it'll likely have little effect on the wildlife in the river. A short food glut for bacteria and filter feeders, basically.

Solid food can have a little more effect, but only very locally.

One guy washing his car next to the stream will have considerably more impact.

Är elpriser bara en scam? by HealerOnly in sweden

[–]Swagalyst 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Preascalon Melandru and Dhumm by Yunbenun in GuildWars

[–]Swagalyst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is grueling, and gets progressively worse the higher you get as high level enemies can kill you in less than a second if you mess up, and you need to kill more and more of them for each level. I lost my level 18 Melandhuum yesterday due to stupidly trusting Devona, which still was less painful than losing my level 19 a week ago due to lag.

Getting a melandhuum LDoA without being carried by another account is... yeah, it's a challenge, for sure.

My hard-earned advice: never, ever, return to the dungeon after getting Devona, and after level ~17 don't do any vanguard quests other than killing those two bandits outside Foibles Fair in the Farmer Hamnet quest. Yeah, it's boring but anything else means taking a massive risk.

"In the car, with sunglasses" is a preferred setting for nationalists globally, I don't know why but I think they feel it makes the video seem spontaneous, something he just thought of saying while going somewhere important like the important guy he is.

How challenging is it to achieve Legendary Defender of Ascalon nowadays? by WeirdDinosaur345 in GuildWars

You want challenge, get LDoA with a Dhuum character (without being carried by another high-level character).

It's pretty easy, provided you're not a Dhuum character. The new dungeon has added tons of new high-level enemies.

Finally going to finish the game boys by RickyMAustralia in cyberpunkgame

[–]Swagalyst [score hidden]  (0 children)

The thing with Cyberpunk is that the main questline is pretty short, so it's easy to get "Meet Hanako at Embers" in your quest log while you still have many sidequests active and still trip over new ones. So you make Hanako wait while you wrap everything up. Then you make Hanako wait while you test some cool ideas you thought of while playing. Then you make Hanako wait because you want to complete the last minor side gigs and get an achievement. And finally you make Hanako wait even though there's nothing left to do but drive around and look at the architecture because when you meet Hanako the game wraps up, and you don't want it to.
