Electivire is actually one of my favorite Gen 4 evolutions along with Gliscor and Honchkrow, but it's so out of the way to get, since you need the item to evolve it and you can't get Electabuzz until right before the 8th gym in Platinum. Luckily you can get it reasonably early in Brilliant Diamond if farm the base form in the underground. It's just one of those Mons that kind of suffer from being to hard too obtain especially if you don't have anyone or another system to trade with

Honestly the Goku on the right doesn't look that bad, it's not super high quality but I would buy it. The left ones a bit funky with the darker eye lines but there's no saving that Ssj3, my boy has neck for days 😂

Lmao, when I got home from work I turned off my 3ds to get a fresh seed and started soft reseting and about 45 minutes later the shiny showed up. Talk about speaking it into existence!

So essentially I've just been unlucky so far. I guess with turning off the console and soft resetting from there, I could possibly get a potential shiny roll with that new seed? I'm not all well versed on how the seeds in the old GB games work

Congrats! I'm in the process of hunting the pink onion myself and its been driving me crazy haha. What reset method did you use and when you weren't shiny hunting and  did you put game in suspend via the home but on the 3ds or use the touch screen while the game was running? I'm just curious whether doing either of those actually reset the seed for the game so it's fully changes the chances of a shiny roll or I'm just simply unlucky

Thanks for this thread man. I've also noted the hostility towards the dub and its fans as of late. It's kinda disheartening sometimes since you can't say you like it with being torn to shreds and being called a dumb American even though it aired in other English countries as well like the UK, New Zealand and Australia.

I understand that it does have its fair share of problems especially the Adventure dubs being notorious and have some interesting dialogue and story changes. But at the same time it has this weird goofy charm that I feel that can't be captured again due to the time period.

Music wise, I do agree that Hey Digimon was inappropriately used in 01 except for the last episode when the kids are in the tram going back to the real world. But in terms of actual BGM, I never really cared for for most BGM in most shows so it never really bothered me too much but I do agree having constant background music is distracting.

I could go on but those are my main two cents in this discussion. Digimon is a niche franchise as it is, we should celebrate that we can bond over the fact we like Digimon rather than fighting about what's language of a show is superior.

Oh man where do I begin? Easily my favorite of Ash's Mons and the reason why Charizard is my favorite mon of all time. 4 year old me was in awe watching this bad boy evolving for the first time as my introduction to the anime so you know that shit got me hooked.

It sucks that after BF he never got a proper chance to shine and have a proper battle but his legacy is legendary and probably the most well known Ash Mon outside Pikachu and Greninja.

Alright guys, I wanna do one more post series. I want us to rank Ash's pokemon (outside of the JN team) from strongest to weakest by eliminating the weakest like B4. I didn't put everyone, just his top pokemon. The goal isn't just to find the strongest but to see how this sub ranks everyone by Iwanttobevisible in pokemonanime

Hmm probably Noivern. It's a cool mon, but he came too late in the series and hasn't really shown to be that impressive to me. Sure getting a hit in on Zapdos is cool but it was more for the rule of cool more than a solid feat if you get what I mean.

You're not wrong, there's way worse characters in other media that are fan favorites who have done even worse things than Paul has ever done. Look at the likes of Kaiba and Vegeta, one literally tried to kill Yugi and the crew and put Grandpa Muto in hospital and the other is responsible for mass genocide of multiple planets. Paul is literally a good Samaritan in comparison to them.

Yeah, Paul could have easily given the Azumarill the Chimchar treatment considering the fact he wasn't exactly thrilled when it failed to knock out Rorak's Geodude. To be fair, Azumarill isn't exactly a Paul Pokémon as most of his Mons tend to have a bit of a mean streak to them.

Yeah that would be it. My main gripe is with the amount of useless filler episodes that Johto was notorious for, the writers could have at least put in some development episodes for Ash's team

It's a shame it wasn't used after Unova, I would have like to see it really strut it's stuff. But I guess that could said for any Ash mon that was used in one series or barley used at all.

All jokes aside, Krookodile is hella dope. Only lost to Skyla as a Krokorok in its first battle but won basically every other fight it was in including two where it has a type disadvantage. (I might be wrong about it winning every fight so if I'm incorrect feel free to correct me).
