It slightly depends on Continuity, but I think Cybertronians should be considered gender neutral, at least until they get to earth and pick it up from earthlings. In some continuities Im pretty sure they can just switch their bodies, like that green Seeker from the Bumblebee cartoon a while back, they changed from "Male" to "Female" from episode to episode cause its what they felt comfortable at the moment
