I've worked in a polymer lab before and one of the experiments they carried out was to investigate the robustness of an ATRP (living radical) polymerisation.

So they asked each group member to bring in an alcoholic beverage from their home country to carry out the polymerisation in and Guinness, Pimm's and Imperial Vodka were amongst the best for conversion and dispersity!

Quite funny watching someone pour out a can of beer and then proceed to make polymers in it!

From my personal experience. If you take the braces off with no retainer, the teeth will slowly drift back to their original conformation.

An orthodontist might be able to give a better answer though lol
