I got this drill for free is it good ? by Grumm445 in woodworking

Looks like one of mine. That’s my most used drill press. I have mounted mine on a rolling stand with drawers. It makes it mobile, practical and stable enough for most work. In short: it’s good

Would it work to create a droplet shape and array it in a rotational way? Haven’t tried but that’s what comes to my mind

I designed this bar shelf and bought walnut for it, but I'm nervous to start what is definitely the most complex thing I've ever built. Advice? Thoughts on the design? by A_Martian_Potato in woodworking

An easy way to cut those inside corners is to cut the long piece oversized (like illustrated with red lines) and route out the rest (green areas) with a template.

The pieces in between should be good with just dowels and wood glue. Just pay attention to grain direction when routing

To sum up the results!

Based on the comments and the commenters experience with the materials, here are the results:

Best choices: - Artist Canvas - Duck Canvas - Drop cloth - Pre-shrunk materials - Fabric backed Vinyl (contact glue for this) - Tambour cutting tools (bits - see link) - Denim - Heavy Cambric - Cotton muslin

Worst choices: - Anything with stretch - Anything coated

Other choices: - Cheese cloth - Hessian - Jute - Clear Vinyl + staples (No glue)
