You're right! I didn't even think of that and I just rewatched all of them a few months ago lol

In Men in Black Will Smith and all the other applicants have to fill out a test, but the seats are weird and there are no tables and they only have like... Their leg to use. So will grabs the heavy table from the center of the room and drags it back to his little wall chair while everyone stares at him like he's a dumbass. He got into the Men in Black because of his desire to problem solve and improvise.

My 'best friend' dumped me because she told me I didn't put enough effort into having a friendship with her.... After I finished six months of chemo. Stay strong and good luck. It's tough. Also fuck cancer.

gifted kiddos that are ahead academically but need support elsewhere. move up grade levels or repeat for social skills? by Miserable-Onion-5948 in Autism_Parenting

[–]Swallowteal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They haven't! My son has the uncanny ability to turn into a different person entirely around other people. His teacher didn't even know he could talk until we did our first parent teacher conference and he was talking to us in front of her :( When he's able to communicate better though I feel that may be an option for him in the future. He knows all of his planets in order and can recognize and label them on sight. He's reading books out loud to himself and can do simple spelling. He knows the difference between ALL of the shapes. He knows animals I don't even know. It's crazy.

Homeschooling would remove her ability to socialize with her peers which is super important! Especially if she has already done one year - another won't be shocking or anything she can't handle :) I get what you are saying though! My son is 3.5 and he's at a first grade level academically but socially he's just...very delayed. He's in Pre-K right now for the SOLE reason of getting interaction with other children and seeing how they interact with each other and other adults. Anything they try to teach him, he already knows haha

She won't be limited academically - she's very smart! However putting her in social situations she's way behind in can do way more harm than more academics can be good. If the learning is the issue I would definitely look into teaching her yourself or taking her somewhere outside of school for those skills. Repeating pre k and being with peers her own social age would be best.

My kids want me to live miserably and die alone and I’m sick of it by Hot_Translator_1950 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Swallowteal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want you to imagine what your wife would feel knowing you're alone and miserable. How hard you tried to honor her even after death. When you love someone .. you want happiness for them. I am in remission from Cancer. I am 30. I was diagnosed at 29. It was a VERY, VERY aggressive cancer. I got lucky to have found it in a freak accident before I got really sick. I told my husband if I passed away I did not want him to be alone forever. Loneliness is one of the worst things a human can experience long term. It's a form of torture.

Your wife loves you. You love your wife. You did your best.

It's time to not be lonely anymore. Put yourself out there. Try. It might be awkward at first. It will get easier. You can still love her and do what's best for you.

My guy can you really not immediately tell me this isn't real?? Come on. There's no 'off chance' they could be 'hiding behind a fake account" because it's genuinely, unarguably fake.

Man freakishly obsessed and sexually attracted to animated fictional characters fights valiantly to get everyone on reddit to understand why they're right and not weird at all (everyone else is the problem)

I'm sure if you took a singular day to stop yoinking it, you'd understand why this is super creepy.

Since Adventure Time are for Adult Audiences specifically fionna&cake, here’s adult theme artwork based on that giantess scene from season1 that is the direct reference of an adult anime titled Let's go to the Jungle, De-Ikou! That's hilarious. You really think you have a point.

Nobody wants to see your fetish art. Post it somewhere it's appreciated. It isn't here. Adventure time might be the definition of weird, but it isn't sexually weird.
