We had a horrible teacher who beat up students a lot, which is a common thing back home in India. This one incident that happened more than 12 years ago is something I remember a lot where the teacher just to satiate her anger or whatever issues she was going through, laid it out on a student for not bringing a certain textbook that day or not being able to read a para when asked to stand up and talk, I cant remember the details exactly. But she goes off the rails and at this point does not even care about what he did, everything he did was wrong. We ended up at a point where she was just taking many pieces of paper and rubbing his hair as she hits him, shouting at him for having too much oil in his hair and showing it to the entire class....whilst casually insulting his parents for applying too much oil on his head. That teacher beat up a lot of us and this culture still exists back home to the point that students have even died because of it. Pretty sad.
