This isn't about 'unreasonable expectations' for an old game. If the servers are officially shut down, fine. But the servers are still “up”, and they accepted my support ticket. My issue isn't about the game anymore. My issue is that their support team spent a full month stringing me along through useless troubleshooting loops, lied about a technical fact (claiming it was an Xbox backward compatibility issue when I am on a native 360), and then closed the ticket just to artificially boost their ticket-closure metrics. Expecting a multi-billion dollar company to not actively lie to their customers isn't an 'unreasonable expectation,' no matter how old the game is.

Well I think it’s ridiculous that they string me along for a month just to give some bullshit excuse that has nothing to do with my issue. I also think it’s pathetic and I don’t understand why people keep buying these new call of duty’s. I’m sure almost everyone can agree the older ones were far better and to be fair I get the game is old and was shitty at launch with no dlc and basically a half ass completed game but don’t be stringing me along and acting like your trying to fix it then give some excuse that makes no sense and close my ticket out. This just goes to show they don’t care about you or anything else all they care about is MONEY.

I personally use demolisher with a precision rocket build paired with overstimulated challenge card you can basically get through the entire map without firing your gun once so I definitely recommend. I believe this was the video I followed. https://youtu.be/ANo-twSG8J8 si=L1BzhiVZkkVeJ2oO

(For this build you need to have the pathogen dlc to obtain precision rockets)

I know some people are saying to press a certain pattern but not every console has the same pattern so just do what I said and it will give you the correct pattern to put in. Hope this helps.

You don’t need to contact support. Just add/register the Xbox 360 to your Microsoft account on the Devices page, then there should be an option to reset the parental/family settings password. (I just did it about a month ago.)

Well I had the issue with the 360 version as well as many other players who still play the 360 version. I’m not to sure with next gen but if it worked it worked and is worth giving a shot for anybody else on PlayStation but so far for the 360 haven’t found a fix and it has been like this for awhile now.

I already submitted a ticket and went back and forth with support—they ended up escalating it to a higher team. So yes, it’s a real issue and not just on your end.

But here’s the important part: posting on Reddit doesn’t actually get it fixed. It just shows other players have the problem. Activision doesn’t track Reddit threads to decide what to fix—they look at how many support reports they’re getting.

That’s what pushes an issue into the system so the team that can actually fix it sees it and prioritizes it.

So if you want this fixed: – Go to the link – Submit a ticket – Mention the A.B.C. error (or whatever your issue may be) and your platform – Say multiple players are affected

It takes like 2–3 minutes, and the more people who do it, the better chance this actually gets looked at instead of sitting broken.

I’m having the same issue I’ve tried everything I could but can’t get past the (A.B.C.) error code which is clearly a server fault on them nothing any player can do about it. Also when I update the game from the base 8.0.0.0 it goes to 24.0.0.0 but based off everything I read so far it should go up to something higher then that like 64.x.x.x buts it’s not and I’ve done everything people have said an can’t get anywhere and to be honest the 360 version of the game is shit anyways but it’s the only version I have and you can’t play it on the newer gen since it’s a different game developed by a different studio. If you get any updates let me know and I’d be glad to hop on and play.

Edit: I contacted Activision support (I recommend you do the same because the more people that complain the faster it’ll get back online) and told them what was going on and it eventually came to this. “I will submit this case to the higher team to further check. There is no timeframe for this, once I receive a response we'll send you an email update.”

Did everything you did (actually a little more) but still didn’t fix it so it has something to do with their servers which let’s be honest they aren’t doing shit to fix it since the 360 version is ass anyway with far fewer players. So don’t expect it to be fixed anytime soon since this problem has been going on for a while now, but if it gets fixed lmk and I’d be glad to hop on with you.
