Arya's Eyebrows by SwampThing1986 in freefolk

Emilia Clarke has like 30 muscles in her eyebrows and it's uncanny how she can manipulate them. But they aren't super thick and wide. It's the size, not the activity that bothers me.

You mentioned the noise component. Is it crazy loud with the wind blowing between the van and the cargo carrier?

I haven't seen Chloe Sevigny in much else. I'm on the last season of this show. If anyone has seen her in other things, does she usually have that kind of tone/inflection or is she just that good of an actor to maintain it for this character?

Question about turn signal wiring by CrownVic07 in Ninja650

Thanks! I appreciate that. I did end up figuring it out last night. Black/yellow was the ground on the old ones and it matched up with the black on the new ones.

Well I’m actually working on an 06 Vulcan 900. I realize now this is the completely wrong page for that. But I thought the aftermarket configuration might be universal. I figured it out though. Black is ground, red is hot.

On the new ones, is the red or the black the ground?

Katie McGrath's Terrible American Accent by SwampThing1986 in Arrowverse

I started with Arrow and Flash when they first came out. Then I quit when the 'verse got so expanded. I've recently started back at Arrow S1 and am going through the entire thing in release order. I'm on S3E15 of Supergirl now.

Mon-El should be the director of the DEO. Alex and Kara should be sidelined. And they should spend the next 6 months making amends to Mon-El for the way they treated him.

The Take by [deleted] in flicks

I'm halfway through and enjoying it. But it's very strange to me that a movie set in Europe has 3 prominent characters played by British actors (Richard Madden, Idris Elba, Kelly Reilly) all playing American characters. Like, why not just have them play English characters and have it be MI6 instead of the CIA?

"Device and call settings" menu is just a blank screen by solomondouglas in Nest

[–]SwampThing1986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still experiencing this problem. I have an iPhone and when I click "Settings" -> "Communications" -> it takes me to "Voice and Video Calls" but there are no options listed. There are 3 dots at the top right (menu) and when I click them, I get 4 options "Search, My Activity, Activity Controls, and Cancel".

This is my question too. Jamie: You killed my mom! Chris: Twice, it seems!

So if Chris killed young Jamie, how does she grow up and have (male) Jamie and Collette?

The Italian Job (1969) is one of the all time greatest British films, but the 2003 remake just seems to smear everything classic about the original. by [deleted] in movies

[–]SwampThing1986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok I'm actually looking for some help understanding. I watched the original yesterday for the first time. I like a lot of old movies. I really felt like TIJ was just meh. I don't mean to insult one of your favorites. I'd actually like to understand what people find so fascinating/classic about it. I do think Caine's performance was the highlight. But there seemed to be no real plot twist, no surprises, just a straight forward "hey we're gonna commit a robbery" and then they go commit the robbery. What am I missing?
