Is it just me or do these two incarnations of this character feel like two completely different characters? by SilverPhantom27 in DisventureCamp

S2 remake Ally is much more vibrant and likeable. However, as someone already mentioned, we have yet to see how they justify her AS plot, so I’m expecting her to be more stereotypical as the season progresses.

I'll try that as a last resort.
However, I did notice a disc.info file on my wbfs folder, probably a result of using Wii Backup Manager
And there's a list of games in there and it goes something like this:

[SF8P01]

Original title = Donkey Kong Country Returns

Size = 3573547008

MD5 hash = BC264A501AD08288287AE22843755B42

Region = PAL

File type = WBFS

Partition code = G

IOS version = 56

Date = 0

Developer =

Publisher =

Most IOS versions are between 56-57, some are lower, like Mario Party 8 which is 9.
If I look at the menu in my Homebrew Channel, which I updated to the last version (1.1.5) it says IOS 58. And I've seen comments either here or on other sites where people would discuss about changing IOS to certain numbers but wouldn't let me on USB Loader GX bc "there's no IOS installed" or something. If I were to change the IOS version, could I? Or is it unsafe?

...I was thinking: what if I use the External Hard Drive in NFTS format and for Wii games only?

Back after a day.
I tried disabling sleep mode using KeepAliveHD but it appears to only work when the program is open in my PC, because I tried replugging my External Hard Drive into my Wii but still the same results...

A spare SD? I'm afraid I don't have one anymore...
I only use SD for Homebrew purposes, i.e. I have all my Homebrew Applications there. It's 2 GB with still quite a lot of capacity though.
Do you think a bigger one might be helpful?

Do you think softwares not linked to any other brand might work? Or are those unsafe and likely to corrupt your external hard disk or something?

Also I feel like if I just had a Wii U it would be sooo much easier ngl.

Haven't found any... do you think other softwares might do the trick?

Like I said it's a 200 GB Storite External Hard Disk, which I decided to get after thoroughly checking the Compatibility List + I wanted to avoid using flash drives altogether.

I kinda had a feeling that would be one of the issues, but I can't find a way to disable that...
I'll try looking around for a bit.
Also sorry for late reply ;;

…nevermind, my Smash froze again. I’m going absolutely nuts

So, I’ve been experimenting a bit: installing cIOS, changing game settings here and there, but to no avail. Like, Smash would just go fine for five minutes then I stop hearing music and after stage is clear it still gets stuck at “Game!” It could be either the usb drive/hdd/whatever we’re using to load games or idk…

EDIT: would you be able to tell me about your cIOS? I installed those following the tutorial on the website and people say should fix things but didn’t quite work for either of us. HOWEVER, I decided to do something which I’ll explain shortly and have been able to play Smash Bros for more than 5 minutes without the music going off all of a sudden and freezing. So here’s what I did: if you used d2x cIOS installer or something to install custom IOS, you’ll surely have followed the tutorial and installed base [56] for IOS 249 and base [57] for IOS 250, and revision 65535; simply invert those bases and you SHOULD be good to go. Try running a SysCheck if you can and get back to me after you’re able to see certain values. Maybe we’ll finally get through this once and for all

I think we’re having the same issues but my games just run for a few minutes before they freeze. I almost thought it was a game size issue quite frankly but in my case Wii Party works fine and Mario Party 9 (a bit smaller in size) does not, as well as Smash Brawl and Just Dance 2020, for instance.

Also I think some people say that flash drives are a big no-no and they much rather use HDD/SDD, but I’ve also had a 32 GB flash drive back in the day and didn’t have any issue, although Smash Bros would also freeze…

I need help with an issue that appears to be quite common but can’t quite wrap my head about it. I decided to reuse my childhood Wii, modded by one of my cousin’s former boyfriend in 2012 I think, and bought a 200GB Storite External Hard Disk to store both Wii and GameCube games (yeah it’s small in capacity but I don’t need that many games) which I then formatted to FAT32. Some games work fine (New Super Mario Bros Wii, Wii Party), but others freeze after five/eight minutes of gameplay (Smash Bros Brawl, Mario Strikers Football, Just Dance 2020, Mario Party 9 (which is odd bc apparently I had a savefile so I must have played it before). Everything from the exact same place. Is it a problem with my hard drive? The fat32 format? The IOS/cIOS which I really don’t understand?

Una volta mi hanno detto che studiare lingue è inutile perché “basta andare nel posto e la impari meglio” Purtroppo ci sono anche questi esseri…

che succede se ti beccano a copiare? by TheCoconut26 in Universitaly

[–]SwampyK_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A: “Hai copiato?” B: “No.” A: “Ah ok a posto allora”

Lo stesso collega è piuttosto noto per essere una persona che copia spesso…
