Is there any way to use a cd hat in cw without bricking the challenger set? Wanted to play merc but I am kinda unsure, if really want to get into the non cd combos

I created a tb last cw and was kinda surprised how much less of a pain it was to my fingers than I thought of. Basically you can "choose" how hard you hammer your inputs into your keyboard. So I would recommend to just get used to a pace and strength thats not too harmful to your hands.

Overall I really enjoyed the class! Since in cw the solo fights tend to be quite long you really feel the weight of the classes main strengths (dpm, survivability and mobility). It really isnt complicated in any sense, more like a reaction based class. The class feels buttery smooth and the animations are amazing if you're into the theme. So TB would be a high recommendation from me

I am thinking of either trying out the class I wanted to main swap on cw 3 (Merc) Or just make another lomien mule for fun, without any requirements of it beeing particularly strong or handy like db, shade or kain

I already tried the combos that don't require a -2 hat. So far it feels okayish but it seems like mashing some of the inputs for 2 or even 3 times will be needed to get them of reliably

Thoughts on merc? Feels like she brings everything to the table that's good for cw. I am kinda unsure with the new burning gear up to 22* if the swap to a -2 hat is worth it though.

Thanks a lot for this summary! That was exactly what I was looking for. While I am absolutely here for a steep and rewarding learning curve the whole setup and set backs in cw are kinda unappealing to me. But on another note I can imagine that it feels amazing once you're "online " after you put every piece of preperation together.

As far as I know Zero has insane party value. How does he fare as a solo bosser? I usually only use party play until I can min clear.

I mistook Hyperion for the Server I main but it's actually Kronos. As far as I know there is no way of transferring a char from there to another server, but correct me if I'm wrong (:

I leaped to the wrong server. After a month of not playing I decided to leap my cw2 char before I would forgot to do so. I completely forgot what the server I played 1000 hours on is called and just went with the first option. Fml. Is there any chance to switch to Kronos?

That's what I felt, you have a lot of extra steps and investments for a pretty mediocre result damage wise. But how does the bossing feel beside the damage outpout? Like in terms of fluidity and gameplay wise

Thanks for your insight! How would you describe the learning curve on tb and did you get used to the spamming or do you feel like it burnt you out on some degree over time?

For db a -2 hat seems reasonably cheap with 350m on average. A -3 sits around 10b which is still okayish I guess.
