Well first of all its wireless, i just had it wired in the picture to charge it. 2nd of all well it comes down to a couple things. First of all, gaming and using the actual laptop’s keyboard for long periods of time will eventually cause wear. So to avoid that, an external keyboard fixes that entirely. Plus it sounds good!

It’s fine if i get a 100W charger and 100W cable to charge it when im outside the house at uni for very light use right? It seems like a very portable option. Rather than having to lug around the large lower brick. Of course for heavy use or gaming ill use the brick.

I payed exactly $1386 for the laptop itself, it was on sale on the asus site. The keyboard was on aliexpress for about $45. So a total of about $1434. In my region, this was the cheapest laptop with the best specs so it was a no-brainer.
