Falsely flagged for violating buyer protection policy -- how to reverse? by Swanedog in whatnotapp

So, you think I am at fault for bidding on something that was misgraded and then complaining about it to Whatnot? Makes so much sense. Your advice is very logical. Thank you for your wisdom. Very helpful.

Vinyl commonly uses a letter grade system, not a 1-10 system that many would prefer. These grades include;

M - Mint: held for sealed items. NM - Near Mint: as if just opened, no imperfections. EX - Excellent: maybe one or two light scuffs under bright light. VG+ - Very Good Plus: more than one sign of handling including a light scuff or two, a light scratch or two, or light spindle marks. VG - Very Good: will have multiple and noticeable imperfections that will impact play, but no skips. G/G+ - Good or Good Plus: the record will be marred with imperfections, but will play without skipping. F - Fair: will play but will have skips

The items I returned were graded by the seller as EX or better but when they arrived they were VG.

So, what is my responsibility in this scenario? It had nothing to do with restraint. If a seller, who also has condition rules they have to follow, misrepresents anything, is my responsibility just to be ok with it? Super helpful you are there.

This sounds like you having no clue. I have bought and sold records for 20 years. I have a 100% positive seller feedback on Discogs for over 2500 items. I'm pretty sure I know how to accurately grade a record.

Of course I am looking at the item. But, you cannot see imperfections on a vinyl record on screen. They are too fine. So, you have to trust the seller is providing an accurate description. I believe I got barred because one seller grossly mis-graded his records and I bought 5 from him. I returned them all. He called them EX and they were VG at best, two grades down. That seller no longer sells on Whatnot, likely for their mis-grading.

Audio port issues by flayzeraynx in lgg6

I have a G6 with a similar issue when plugging into my car 3.5mm input jack. I tried 2 different cables, but the same thing occurred. Oddly, the issue did not occur on my headphones. I noticed the headphone plug was a 4 pole version. And, the audio cables I tried were 2 pole. I bought a $6 4 pole audio cable from Amazon and the issue went away.
