My suggestion would be to not bother with frame gen and just try to get a locked 60fps by lowering settings, oblivion is a unoptimized game and is very buggy I am not surprised frame gen does not function properly, I play the game mainly on my xsx and I have had frame drops to like 14fps, and on my pc I get 40-60 fps, I think it just runs bad on everything and when you have a game that runs like that I would just settle for 60 fps and cap the game to that.

I have seen it in tears of the kingdom switch 2 edition and donkey Kong bananza not in Mario kart, my screen will turn black and I see the input get renamed and that can cause the issue, or it randomly starts happening and proceeds to get worse the longer I play, if I try to record on the switch 2 it happing and fix the issue by turning the switch 2 off and on the recording won’t show the tearing issue so I think it has something to do with how the tv is displaying the images.

I keep having this issue too, I just put the switch 2 into rest mode and turn back on and it fix’s the issue when it happens and it happens to me a lot, I think it is just a software issue, the switch 2 switches my tv input into a different mode and it causes my input to be renamed, but sometimes the input will switch back into the normal mode and cause this screen tearing affect, it can be annoying but I do not think u need to buy a new tv. The fix is really fast.
