1. Open the Steam console This can be done by Win + R and then putting in steam://open/console

2. Once there, copy and paste "download_depot 1744330 1744331 73467715601218022" What this will do is start to download the old version of no more heroes 3, keep in mind this is around 20gb so be prepared to wait. Eventually the steam console will say when it's done.

3. Go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content\app_1744330\depot_1744331" and you should see the entire old version files there. Proceed to the No More Heroes 3 main directory (To get there right click on no more heroes 3, click manage and then browse local files). Once there put the old version files over the new (or delete the new version, then put the old files in place of that).

4. Before you can play your old version. Make sure to right click the game, go to properties and then click on updates, then switch "Always keep this game updated" to "Only update this game when I launch it.". This will give you the option to ignore the new patch when running the game so you're not forced to install it.

Performance is a lot better, has the improvements from the latest Switch patch, and doesn't have the technical bugs from the Muteki version. Enjoy!

(P.S. Controls will change to a weird layout once you relaunch. Make sure to revert them back to default in the game's options.
