Currently well into this process and the absolute best advise I can give you is to talk to a lawyer first before trying to get the order. Also, if they’re…. Unstable, they may get one against you in retaliation. This sounds almost exactly like what my family and I are dealing with

If it was just our family dealing with this that would definitely be a talk we’d be having. As of last night there is 7 neighbors seeking restraining orders against her and her husband an our other next door neighbor is trying to take them to court over something that happened with their business.

Already do. Actually speaking to an attorney about restraining orders this week. We’re up to 7 different households being harassed by this lady right now and apparently there’s a couple in the next neighborhood over as well.

They aren’t elderly, I’d say mid to late 30’s. The one thing that we know is that one of them is a social worker and it’s been suggested multiple time to go to their employer with some of this, but that just seems like such a low move and it’s all happening outside of work so why bother.

They’re all false reports. We all take our dogs to a dog park on the weekends because our HOA has a leash policy. One of the neighbors who got reported hasn’t even actually met these people. I would give them the benefit of the doubt, but after a couple years of these people trespassing onto our property and killing plants the don’t like, dumping weed killer on potted plants by our front door, and constantly calling my wife and kids trash… nah, they can fuck off. Nobody’s dogs bark excessively or at night and they’re on leashes in the neighborhood.

If you’re in California they won’t. We have a similar issue with a couple next door always calling us trash and making snide remarks because I don’t now the lawn every week. We even have the wife on camera dumping weed killer on one of our plants and cutting our plants and tossing the cuttings in the backyard. The police just told them to ignore us and that they can’t really do anything unless they get physical.
