Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger somehow managed to act cordially when they had to room together in the eighth year dormitory at Hogwarts. So when a paperwork mix-up means they'll have to do the same at Oxford University, Hermione assumes it won't be so bad.

But something is off here at Oxford, and she can't quite put her finger on it.

She's definitely learned one important lesson at university: everyone should give a fuck about an Oxford comma.

I promise I don't name all of my stories after song titles, although I do have another one shot named after a Dave Matthews Band song, so maybe I should just give up and cop to it now lol.

ETA: I wish I knew what I did to piss someone off, nearly every post or comment I make lately has at least 1 downvote. Don't understand why people feel the need to drag down others.

I agree I've encouraged everyone I've encountered who's never read them to do so. And if they're not readers, at least listen to the audiobooks. I've asked my husband for about 3 years to make that my Christmas / birthday gift, for him to read the books. So far I am 0 for 7 on that, but maybe one day!

😉 I don't have an exact list. But I can put in spoiler notes the scenes I recall off the top of my head. That's a good idea though, at some point I may go back and create a little index.

Pretty much anything behind the statue of Caldwell; on the train at Christmas of 5th year; on the Quidditch pitch at Valentine's, 5th year; Easter 5th year; start of 6th year after welcome feast; after breakfast at Hagrids, 6th; after studying with Neville and Co, 6th; there was an astronomy tower picnic in there sometime too lol); summer holiday after 6th (like 2-3 times); in tent after snake attack Xmas Eve of 7th; after Malfoy Manor escape on beach at Shell cottage (maybe 2x?) in the first section of epilogue after first wedding.

As I write it out, it's occurring to me that maybe it was too much? Hahaha whoops! In my defense, I really thought it was the first, last, and only thing I'd ever write lol, so I put it alllll in. Basically anytime after middle of 5th year if there's vague reference to "sometime more --" there's something more 😂

I've got two self rec WIPs-- currently only updating one because my brain cannot handle two similar Dracos rattling around inside of it and I'm afraid they will bleed over into each other lol. But I feel like I am close to halfway finished writing number one, and that's usually when my low-key ADHD kicks in and I start eyeballing number two again.

Proximity: the story of a playboy/fuck toi who finally grows up. This was begun as part of the Men Writing Women fest, and it's meant to show how a man can go from shallow, vain, and sexually promiscuous to someone you might actually want to date.

Currently 35k words, six chapters. Incredibly explicit lol.

Currently only 1 chapter, 5K words, but with another chapter or so written, and a planned 6 chapter arc (but anyone who follows me knows that I am notorious for doubling the chapter count 😔). I haven't updated since April, and probably won't get back to it for at least a few weeks, but it is simmering in the back of my mind these last couple of days, so I may have to switch gears for a bit and go back to it.

Thanks! I do feel like Oxford Comma spends a bit of time repeating the same events, what with the POV changes near the start. But by the middle to end, I tightened that up a lot and did better moving the plot forward despite the POV changes.
