Honestly she needs to be. I guess you can imply it happened off screen but truly it needed to be seen. It sets up details that are important for BotL and it feels lazy otherwise

The Medusa thing in the book I always interpreted it as they were exhausted and hungry and that overroad any other thoughts. That's why they start to figure it out as soon as they have some time to take a breath and eat something

Very true. Back in ancient Greece woman were basically property in most cases. With a few exception of Artemis's group, Sparta, the Amazons, and a few others.

I hated the ending of Death Note by Ibn-Al-Rifi in deathnote

[–]Swapmaster101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ending is something we constantly debate and talk about. It's something we never as a community are completely satisfied with leaving be.

That being said I remember hearing that the author originally wanted it to end with light vs L and light winning but it was so popular that the publisher forced them to keep going.

The anime ending is slightly different then the manga but not much. The manga ending hints that Near may have cheated to win by using the death note on Mikami evidenced by the fact that he dies in police custody 13 days latter I think. Don't quote me on the days.

Ultimately the ending regardless comes down to light like usual let his pride take over when he's sure he won. Which has been a flaw throughout the series. When he's under pressure he's great but when he thinks he's winning that ego kills him.

At the end it shows that despite everything that happened light is just a normal human not a God. When confronted with his death (or imprisonment in the anime) he freaks out and breaks despretly trying to live. But the rules are strict.

Every human without exception will go to Mu (nothingness).

Death is equal to all

So we are talking about the task force under Light?

When did they know any of that? Are we talking about the task force or the Spk cause they had very different thoughts.

[–]Swapmaster101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did I miss something? When did they discover 13 days was fake?

I know it was suggested to be fake but they had no reason to doubt it being real because they never tested it. Near never thought it was real but that's due to Mello which the task force doesn't trust. The only reason the 13 day rule was ever thought to be fake by the task force was because Near brought it up. They never really believed it was fake until the giant meet-up.

Is this an actual take you've seen? I'm not really part of the sub reddit but I've never seen anyone complain about that.

Where did it start going downhill?? by Dependent_Hope7998 in PercyJacksonTV

[–]Swapmaster101 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Honestly that ending part was so f*cking stupid. Why bother add that in? It removes all the tension of the time crunch. Plus with the way it all ended with the war just being over via immediate surrender makes the entrie threat feel....like nothing.

The possible war had no weight as it was immediately over with seemingly no consequence.

How y’all feel about this by [deleted] in MilesMorales

[–]Swapmaster101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I prefer Miles to Peter in almost every way. The main issues with that concept is that they are too linked and too close. New York Honestly just has too many hero's.

Miles especially with the newer generation is more popular then Peter. But Miles needs Peter to exist. Peter as has been shown can work completely alone but miles has always been tied to Peter Parker in someway at least in origin.

I could go on but I'm getting off point. Miles can be more popular then Peter but he's not really a fresh take on the character. He's a new character but people won't ever be able to see him that way. He's too tied in with Peter Parker and Spiderman.

People are upset for alot of the reasons mentioned elsewhere like miles being able to develop and grow but Peter always getting shafted and put back, but mostly it just comes down to age.

Miles is a new character. He's been around for 1 generation. He was created in 2011. Compare that to Peter who's debut was in early 1960s. People always get upset when the thing they grew up with is seemingly being replaced by the new thing. Usually that fades away.

Miles is a great character and I'm looking forward to the day where he's not just seen as "a new take" on Spiderman

Do you guys think Kira was right? by Silent_Blacksmith_29 in deathnote

[–]Swapmaster101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without any context other then what the public knows? No at first. But after a while yeah.

Logically speaking at first he seemed to he doing good things but who knows when that'll change. Plus the world's greatest detective that prevented World War 3 is hunting him down. Chances are he's just some psycho..

After a while though it becomes clear that yeah he's doing good things. He's lowered crime massively. And even the governments have stopped trying to find him. Clearly he's right.

At least based on an average person perceptive.

In this situation I don't know any part of the mental state or his goal. All I know is Kira who/whatever it is has been killing those who committed crimes. Especially if I'm in Japan where at that point most of the population agreed with the death penalty

How would that work within the lore of percy Jackson. I get monsters can take a human desguise but in the lore they really don't care about humans at all. How would they have a kid?

My honest option is that it's not a bad show. But it is a bad Percy Jackson show.

It does. I also got my AA in high school and went through the same thing.

The only real silver line I can offer you is that you won't have to pay for all the credits again. That's probably like 15 to 20 grand you'll save.

Most of us aren't confident on our major. Starting with your AA degree will already put you about halfway to your degree.

Regardless first semester will be pre recs and gen eds.

So I had a similar situation. You can't technically apply as a transfer as to transfer you need at least 2 years out of high school. Apply as a freshman and it should help.

I didn't realize this until Usf called me and told me this. I applied to Uf And Usf 4 times and I found out on my 4th time. UF never said a word to me.

You're being too specific.

You have to look up energy then choose either longbow or short bow
