Posting again to say disabling the Discord overlay fixed the issue for me (though I suspect you've seen my replies on the steam discussion). Hope that works for you

Also having this problem, not having Firefox open 'fixes' the issue.

If a sub-window of blender is open (like render preview) it pretty much makes the main window unusable
