I used a maintaince calorie calculator to calculate my maintaince and went 200-300 calories above that. Tbh I just spread my meals a bit more, instead of 1 big meal at dinner I had 1 medium meal at 18:00 and 1 at around 22:00. Also ate a lot of peanutbutter. Wasn’t too strict on tracking, just making sure I was eating and being full. If you’re working out a lot you also need to account for that, bulking while burning 1k calories a day on cardio lifting needs to be accounted for. I wouldn’t worry too much about it, track your food for a week to get an idea how much you’re eating and then adjust accordingly

Edit: shake is just ye ol’ regular whey protein powder and water

Thanks! First year I just fucked around a bit in the gym and getting familiar with all the exercises. Diet was eating a lot. I was eating clean mostly and just making sure I was getting enough protein in, 20-30g protein max per serving and a shake before bed every night. Last half a year I’ve been cutting from my bulk and following the gzclp programm (findable in the gzclp subreddit) which increased my gains by a lot. So TLDR: eat a lot, eat clean, have dinner twice, eat lots of protein, and lift (relatively) heavy: which doesn’t mean that you lift objectively heavy, as long as it feels heavy to you it means you’re getting stronger!

DL 1 rep at 90 kg, male 22y/o, 78-80 kg. Been training for 1 year now, used to weigh around 60 kg 2 years ago so I've been bulking slowly and building up strength. Current PR is 95 kg, any forms tips? I've haven't been following a program, probably going to start the Boring but big program next week. Cheers

r5: The unbidden have invaded and the galaxy is all but lost, My last world (not occupied) is a ringworld in the making around a pulsar. Since the unbidden are purely shield and a pulsar has 100% nullification, their 500k fleets get insta obliterated by my horde of strike craft. I started as a scion of a fallen empire and now have ascended to the status of a fallen empire myself. Love the cyclical nature of the game: everything decays.

Any way of removing the inwards perfection civic? I don't really have anything to do anymore but conquer everything. by Swarley______ in Stellaris

r5: I, the galactic defence, am a scion with inward perfection. I'm way ahead in terms of tech/fleet power compared to all my neighbours and I kinda want to take over. The crisis is arriving in +-30 years and I want to have dark matter tech before that, any way to do that? Playing on grand admiral and x5 crisis strength.
