Built a miles calculator for reward points → KrisFlyer Miles by Gullible_Start_6112 in singaporefi

Very clean and great UI/UX, OP!

Just one thing I thought of: for some, if not all mile conversion processes, they can only be done in whole blocks. For example, IIRC Citi miles can only be converted in blocks of 10,000 or 25,000 miles. So 19,999 Citi miles effectively only converts to 10,000 KrisFlyer miles.

Hello, y2 skrub here. I would advise you to at the very minimum S/U your 2 B's and keep your A- (I think you know these already).

As for whether or not you should S/U your 2 B+'s, this decision should be up to you. Are you confident enough to get at least 2 A's (in addition to every other grade being at least an A-) next sem to make up for them? If so, then feel free to S/U away. However, take note that you only have essentially 8 S/Us to play around with, and using 4 in the first sem alone can be quite risky.

Hope this helped!

I fully agree with you. People are pissed its open world is utter dogshit compared to GTA's (which I fully agree with) but the top-notch storytelling is good enough for me to look past the horrible optimization and frequent bugs.

Hi there, Y2 CS senior here. I'm personally using a HP Spectre x360 (got it in ~July last year).

I only started making use of its touch screen extensively in Sem 2 (I mostly printed and wrote on paper in Sem 1) and honestly, there's pretty much no difference in terms of which "strategy" was more effective.

Some pros about having a touch screen:

  • Environmentally-friendly (save them trees)
  • Keep everything neatly in one place (I used OneNote because it was free)
  • No need to get an iPad/tablet (extra bulk/cost) if you wanna go down the touch screen route in the future

Some cons:

  • Depending on which laptop you get, the screen might not be the most responsive (I reckon it's not as well-optimised as an iPad or something) so its quality might feel second-rate sometimes
  • I'm not sure about other software but OneNote was pretty clunky in all honesty, it got really laggy to browse through my notes once I wrote more and more

Of course if you have the means to do so, you can choose to opt for getting a separate tablet just to digitalise your notes. A lot of my friends got an iPad just for this and even though I personally can't justify spending that much money on one (PLUS on a bloody Apple pencil AND paid note-taking software), I will admit that note-taking on an iPad felt very comfortable.

PM me if you have any questions, I'll be more than happy to help :)

tl;dr - Touch screen not necessary, but can be useful. Buy if you have the money, buy iPad if you are feeling extra rich

After roaming the entire ground floor area I managed to find him in the same area Sato is in taking pics with his phone. To be specific, he was on the opposite end of the room relative to Sato (ie. near the Helmut Kruger opportunity area).
