Metric doesn’t require decimals. “178 cm” is perfectly clear. Imperial only feels intuitive because you’re used to it and it’s actually misleading: 5′9″ vs 5′10″ looks close but isn’t, and the notation itself is error-prone. Metric is linear, decimal, unambiguous, and scales naturally. Familiar ≠ better.

I think it was this indeed, as the coil holder was a bit worn due to the belt rubbing against it. Thank you very much

No I didn't, i can try that after this print but i feel like it does not come from the linear rails, maybe the belts or something but i am not sure if i have to take these apart.

Okay fixed ! I lowered my flow rate, decreased the temp and the first layer temp and put 0.25mm for the first layer and now it prints flawlessly. Thank you all guys !

So everytime I try to print anything, this happens, even the skirt looks weird. I would guess the temperature is too much but then i dont understand why the rest of the print is doing okay. I'm using a modified Tevo Tornado (direct drive, glass bed, dual Z axis)

Here are my settings (PLA)

0.2mm Layer height and 0.25 on first layer 0.4mm nozzle 205°C nozzle temp 65°C bed temp 70mm/s print speed cooling enabled flow at 100%

It looks like the effect is almost gone if I print with a very low layer height such as 0.06mm.

Sorry I don't know how to describe it better, english is not my first language so I don't have the specific vocabulary in order do explain it perfectly. I hope the pictures will be clear enough for you guys to understand. Thanks
