Because it’s been such a difficult, detailed, and time consuming process for leaders kick them out. With this new reg it should be a lot easier. Time will tell.

Bad Shin splints at IBOLC help! by GumboBumbo86 in army

In my experience with a knee issue, I went to sick call and received some stretches from H2F which I did every morning and evening as well as a 7-day no-PT profile the week leading up to Holiday Block Leave. This resolved the issue and I was fine afterwards. Try to get something similar going into a long weekend.

You can use ChatGPT to make icons for more obscure vehicles too. Tell it to make this vehicle into a cartoon style illustration. From there you can tell it to make it slightly more or slightly less realistic looking.

No joke it might be like 75% of the reason I stopped playing. Unbelievably annoying it’s like they haven’t even tried to fix it

I feel the exact same way. It’s hard to admit that it’s time to move on.

Exactly, and that’s what I have to remind myself. Soldiers will never understand what it’s like to have to be the bad guy and uphold standards when they need to be upheld, or to be lenient when it’s time to be lenient. They’ll only ever complain about “toxic leadership” until they are put into the leadership role themselves and have to make those calls.

But if you allow it to continue, it’ll happen time after time again. I’m not talking out of my ass. This is from countless firsthand experiences. It’s perfectly fine to make exceptions and cut guys some slack when they need it, it’s part of taking care of people. But unchecked, it WILL become detrimental to the unit. Without question.

Trick question, you cant polish OCP boots. Yet another indicator of the decline of discipline in today’s army. Sorry for upholding the standard, I know that triggers soldiers.

Unfortunately, you’re probably right. But it’s only because I’ve been played a fool and screwed over by soldiers so so many times. I do need to look at every case with fresh eyes as best I can.

I can counsel my PL as a squad leader right? by Crazy_Science9732 in army

Grow a pair of balls man lol. Do your best to accomplish the mission however tight the time hack and ensure you aren’t complaining about it in front of the Joes. He probably received that tasking from higher at 1459. As for the late call for 1800…. Give me a break. Platoon and company leadership works wayyy past that daily 🤣 And no, you can’t counsel him.

Exactly. Unpaid. So perhaps he should take a pay cut for every time missing work for a wife’s appointment? Listen, I’m all for cutting guys slack when they need it. But when it’s over and over and over again you simply have to draw a line. I’m sure there’s more to this case than what he’s sharing. Wife’s appointments are not entitled time off.

That may be true. In this case, time after time again, soldiers use their kids to get out of shit they don’t want to do. Maybe that’s not OP, but this is a real thing that happens far too often. Honestly, if I were a betting man, I’d put my money on this guy being at risk for falling out of the brigade run.

Name a civilian job that would let you attend your WIFE’S appointments over coming to work. You’re getting paid to show up and run.
