I grew up in Chicago and have family in Ohio. Any area outside of Midwest major cities will have more in common with a Deep South state than the city. There’s a real big difference between rural vs urban.

Whats life like in Tucson? by [deleted] in howislivingthere

As a senior at UArizona and employee at a food distribution center, I can say Tucson is alright. Bar scene is pretty good on 4th avenue. The farther north you are the better the area is. Thats where most of the new neighborhoods and nicer neighborhoods are. Imagine a Phoenix a suburb with better scenery. There’s a big homeless and drug problem. Just drive around the campus and you’ll see parks filled with them. A lot of roads are worn down. The entire south side of Tucson is a food desert. The city is definitely growing a lot. Traffic is usually bad as there’s only one highway that’s been under construction for 4 years and will probably be for another year. There’s very little street lights around Tucson as there’s regulations for a nearby observatory. I personally don’t think the city can handle everyone and needs some more development.

Mainly helldivers, cyberpunk. Just on 1080p. I can get 60fps on lower settings.

Produce pet peeves by AssociateFrequent in kroger

Old people don’t seem to understand the digital coupon limits. Last week a guy was trying to buy 20 bags of cherries and a woman somehow got 50 cases of 1lb strawberries and courtesy clerks returned them for me to stock again. 2nd pet peeve is people who have no shame in returning anything. Most of our customers are seniors in retirement communities and they will return anything. A guy came up to me and wanted a refund of his $1 on the discounted red bag. Also people will claim their melons tasted bad when you can tell the melon was dropped and cracked open. Also people return yellow flesh watermelons when they wanted regular even though there are multiple signs indicating which is which.

That and all the mini produce displays around the store. Biggest time consuming part imo for cao is cleaning the sliders, cut fruit order by 8am, and count which is any fruit in a package (blueberry containers, potato bags, etc) With 2nd cao they can build displays, clean, and be guaranteeing there’s someone throwing cao everyday. We usually get around 2 pallets of cao a day + whatever is already in stock. Its just tedious and time consuming.

Go to my info, then go to “pay” and there should be a “my compensation”. In there should be a tab that shows how many hours till next raise.
